My experience & results After a long day at my desk, my neck and shoulders often feel tight. Sliding this wrap on for 10–15 minutes relieves tension almost immediately. Because it’s naturally scented, I didn’t feel like I was using a medical device — more like a spa item. I’ve used both hot and cold applications depending on how my muscles feel, and both modes have been effective. It’s held up to daily use without showing wear, which is a relief (literally) given how soft materials can sometimes degrade.

I have 3 of these now. They are so handy! Sometimes I use it on my face for sinus issues or my head for a migraine or draped around a shoulder cap when it’s sore. If I have chest cold, sometimes it’s nice to lay one on my chest to just feel the warmth and smell the scent. If my abdomen is not feeling great, this lays across my belly area. Put a warm 1 or 2 in the bottom of the blanket for warm toes! I leave them on my couch tucked behind their pillows. I pull them out and wrap them in a circle to hold a mug of coffee or tea. It’s great for the neck and shoulders, too, but as you can see, it has so many more uses! I sent one of these to my daughter who has sinus issues. She loves hers! While visiting my 14 y/o niece, she was using my wrap on her shoulders and neck. She loved it and how it smells. I sent her one and her mom said she might be stealing it, hahaha! The quality is good. No open spots. Everything is sewn closed. The wrap came in a sealed bag, but not like a seal-a-meal bag where the air is sucked out. You have to cut the thick plastic bag open, though. It likely holds all the scent it. The fabric is soft and not static-y. You can put this in the freezer (I would say like most cold compress things…in a sealed bag so it doesn’t get freezer smell) but the cold doesn’t last very long. You’re better off with one of those fine sand style filled kind. I love those. I like to heat this wrap folded over itself in my Whirlpool 1000w microwave for 1 min 30 seconds. Then I flip it over and do another 1 min 30 seconds and check it. If you don’t use yours often, store it in a ziplock style bag with a desiccant packet/silicon gel packet or silica alternative

The Sharper Image Herbal Weighted Aromatherapy neck wrap is the essential item I needed more than I knew. The comfort of a heating pad, plus weight and scent, AND you're not tethered to a wall socket and plug. You can even fall asleep with it on and not worry about scorching or burns. I have grappling not only with pain in my neck and shoulders at night, but severe anxiety and stress. Boy, let me tell you, this is nicer than being tied to a standard heating pad. I put it in the microwave for a total of 2 min ( can be heated 1 min and then in 30 sec intervals for a total of up to 3 min) and the warmth + weight + scented delight of lavender, lemongrass and mint was so soothing. The heat actually gets deep into your muscles and is slightly damp, however that happens as you heat this. The weightedness to this heating pad is like a welcome warm hug and it had my muscles feeling so good after only a few minutes. I have not tried to freeze it yet, but I know I found a new tool in my arsonal for stress, anxiety and muscular tension/pain. I have Autism, so this heated neck pad will feel good just to relax with when I am overwhelmed. Would make an awesome gift for this reason, or just about anyone who needs relief of sore muscles, or just a soothing timeout. I highly recommend this item. Absolutely LOVE it, wish I knew about it sooner.

I used this wrap warm to relax my muscles that get tight while working at my computer all day. I warmed it up the maximum of 3 minutes which was a bit too warm for my skin so next time I’ll do less. It conforms around my shoulders and neck and feels great. The heat lasted about 15 minutes. The smell of lavender and herbs reminds me of an herbal tea which is what I smelled like after using it lol. The feel of the wrap is very soft. You can easily adjust it on your shoulders to make sure the herbs inside are distributed evenly.

This is so comforting and I love the lavender smell. It makes my neck and shoulders feel so much better. Like a warm hug!

It works good. I just wish the collar was tighter around the neck. That's where I need it for my head and neck

This is a great size microwaveable heating pad for your neck, shoulders, back, or menstrual pain! I tend to wrap it around my calf when I get Charlie horses too. It’s got a slim and flexible design that allows you to maneuver it for maximum relief and comfort. It holds onto the heat really well and delivers a deep moist heat when applied. Pretty good value for the money but I do wish it had a way to clip together to make it easier to wear and still move around. The covering is soft and seems good quality. It’s stuffed pretty well so as to give a little support and has a decent weight to it. The lavender / medicinal smell can be pretty strong when it’s warmed and sometimes that is a little overstimulating. The smell fades the more you use it though so that problem resolves itself.

It is heavy, which makes the muscles relax and smells nice. I min in microwave makes it nice and warm. Relaxes the muscles nicely.

Can't heat for longer than 3 minutes, so always feels look warm, disappointed by that. Nice lavender smell. Super soft material. Love the flap for your neck.
