Pucks up well in colorado mountains

I didnโt trim it to the 150.00000-160.00000 VHF length and the reception is still good. Good value for the money payed for it. Easy to install as long as you have a NMO mount. Description says 39.5in it definitely is that long.

Great antenna, low swr for entire VHF band, I would like to have a more accurate measurement before I purchased it. Mine is almost exactly 40 inches from the grey base to the ball at the top of the whip (while assembled) base itself feels solid and the Whip seems well made. It is still early but Iโll update this review if I have anything else to add.

The included whip won't make it inside spring past the first set screw hole, even with the screws completely out. I'm not happy that I now have to go buy an antenna twice, from a reputable manufacturer. Not to mention it isn't long enough for 2 meter amateur radio, unless you purchase an additional whip. The advertisement is misleading. I was going to repurpose it for a scanner radio, but it won't go together at all. What a joke.
