Excellent Product
Why would I write a review for 45ml bottle of paint? Because for years I have tried to match the glossy dark green on my 1970's ceramic lighted Christmas tree. I search to find the exact deep green color to paint the bottom of the lighted tree and base. PEBEO PORCELAINE ceramic paint in BRONZE GREEN was a perfect match, Went on smooth, high gloss finish without firing the ceramic. Soap & water cleanup.

This is my first attempt at painter ceramics.
This is my first attempt at painter ceramics. I purchased a ceramic tree and I didn't like the paint job. I used regular white acrylic paint at first and then looked online for ceramic paint. I'm really glad I did. As I'm putting the paint on the tree, I am marveling at how incredibly easy it is to work with- it goes in really nice and easy. The color and sheen was surprising. I was worried it might look matte like the acrylics. There's definitely a learning curve to it but once you get the hang of it, you'll be so happy you gave it a try! It dries quicker than anticipated and if I paint over spots where it's already drying, then it causes some very mild streaking. But now I know to anticipate that. I wish the bottle was bigger but I also have a rather large tree so a lot of surface area to cover. I'm already ordering a 2nd bottle, just to make sure I have enough and to have some for touch ups. I definitely will be trying more colors after I'm done with this. I love how shiny it is and will be returning the bottle of clear glaze I bought. I realize the photo isn't showing the best paint job but this is my first time trying to paint a tree so please don't let my lack of talent influence you. A huge Thank you to Titlelog for mentioning they used Bronze Green on their tree, this is absolutely the perfect shade for vintage ceramic trees. The bottle could use better protection and packaging. Luckily, I didn't have any issues but because there's no protective film you have to break to access the paint, I can see how the lack of good packing at the warehouse can very quickly cause a catastrophic mess during shipping.

Great stuff
We have a ceramic Christmas tree that was purchased as a gift, at a shop that closed long ago. The person who made the tree just didn't do a very good job. The green glaze was so dark in some places it was almost black, while other areas were so light they had a bluish color. The only thing I can figure is they wanted a lot of contrast, and maybe they were going for a snowy look. Whatever the case, it failed. And we've had the tree for 20 years and never used it, because it was just so ugly. I started looking for a way to rehab it, and came across Porcelaine 150. I ordered the wrong color the first time, "Emerald" proving to be a deep blue-green. I was worried Bronze Green would be too dark, but it is the perfect dark green. I also bought the "Dynasty Faux Squirrel Brush 1/2 in. flat" and gave the tree one coat of Porcelaine 150. The photos show one side, before and after, and also half and half. Even one full coat was an improvement, but I waited 24 hours and did another coat, concentrating on the top of the branches. After another day I only painted the lighter areas that needed darkening. The paint blended perfectly, and brushstrokes were completely invisible. I was nervous about baking, because the tree fit in the oven with only a couple of inches to spare. Everything went well though, other than some fumes, and the new color seems completely adhered to the surface. It ended up looking like a glass smooth glaze fired at a high temperature. The last photo shows the finished product. The paint did exactly what I wanted it to, evening out the color and making it richer. It's an incredible product. I have a lot of paint left over to use for other projects.

Perfect for chipped ceramic bakeware
I did a lot of research before buying this. It's tough ordering paint when you need an exact color, and this one was an exact match for both my muffin dishes and ramekins. I followed the instructions on the bottle (no primer or extra products needed), and it worked exactly as intended with only one coat. I can't say if it sticks after using a dishwasher, as I hand wash my baking ceramics, but up against a soapy sponge and hot water, the paint stayed intact, even after multiple bakes and washes. I circled where all the chips were so you can see how well it covered them. If I look hard enough, sometimes I can't even tell where it was chipped. It's worth mentioning that I tried this paint on an item that cannot be baked, and it came off with soap and water easily.

Easy to use and great results!
I had some old wine glasses with worn out gold rims that needed to be re-done. This paint isn't glossy, but provides a opaque, pearlescent gold color. I found that dipping the rims of the glasses in the paint (vs painting on with a brush) yielded the best and most consistent results. Otherwise, using a brush resulted in the gold looking streaky. Ofter baking, I've hand-washed these a few times and the paint still looks great!

Beautiful paint and easy to use
I got Pebeo Porcelaine 150 paint and fine tip marker for my ceramic dog’s bowls. I went online and found directions on how to use the paint properly. I painted the bowls, let them dried for about 24 hours and then baked them in the oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Let them cool completely before handling. The painting is still on the bowls after many washing. I am very happy with the results and highly recommended. Important: you must bake the paint to make it permanent.

Very good porcelain paint
This is a good paint. Be aware that it will take many coats if you are painting over darker colors, which makes sense. I painted yellow over dark green and it took several coats, but the finish is well worth it. My wife loved the result, and I got hubby points.
