Review: Flagship powerhouse with Hasselblad-tuned triple 50MP - Is a flagship powerhouse that delivers premium performance without breaking the bank. I've been using it for a few weeks as my daily driver alongside some rugged phones for work, and it's smooth, reliable, and fun for everything from gaming to streaming. Design and Build Sleek aluminum frame with a quad-curved 6.82-inch QHD+ AMOLED display that's insanely bright (up to 4500 nits peak) and smooth at 120Hz—perfect for outdoor use or binge-watching. IP68/IP69 rating keeps it safe from water and dust, plus the alert slider is a lifesaver for quick silent mode switches. It's slim at 8.5mm but weighs 213g, so comfy in hand despite the size; the ultrasonic fingerprint reader is lightning-fast. Performance Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage flies through heavy multitasking, 4K editing, and games like Genshin—no throttling or lag even after hours. OxygenOS 15 is clean and customizable with solid AI tools like summaries and photo edits; animations are buttery smooth. Great 5G support on most bands, though eSIM Wi-Fi calling had a minor glitch I fixed with a restart. Battery and Charging The 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery lasts 1.5-2 days easily with my mixed use (social, GPS, some crypto apps), and standby is epic. 100W wired charging hits 55% in 15 minutes (full in ~35), plus 50W wireless—faster than most rivals. Reverse charging is handy for topping up earbuds or watches. Cameras Hasselblad-tuned triple 50MP setup (main, ultra-wide, 3x tele) nails portraits, landscapes, and low-light with natural colors and OIS; 4K Dolby Vision video is pro-level. Selfies from the 32MP front cam are sharp too. Not quite Pixel-level processing, but punches above its price for everyday shots.
Review: My favorite phone. - Coming from a former Samsung user who is never going back due to endless Samsung QA issues and Samsung support nightmares, Oneplus has the best non-iPhone experience money can buy in the US market at this time. It is the best phone I have owned so far in my life. The experience has been smooth and flawless, it is clearly a well made phone. It runs completely cool while gaming, where my old S21Ultra Samsung would burn up in my hands running the same games. The OLED display is so easy on the eyes for contrast, color and brightness quality. The battery life easily lasts all day, often I have 50% remaining or more after a day of busy use. It even lasted all day at Disneyland, running the DisneyParks app with full background permissions which is the most intense thing a phone can go through in my opinion. Chipset is fast. Software is fast. Games are fast. OS is a little better than Samsung, I have not experienced any deal breaking bugs in the OS personally outside of some random Bluetooth bugs initially, but that appears to be fixed now with the newer software updates. It's not completely perfect - the only thing I wish was a little better was the cameras, but they are good enough for what I need - just barely. cameras are better than the Samsung S21 Ultra which I had before at least, so good enough for me. If Oneplus ever comes out with a "pro" phone with their usual awesome hardware and upgraded cameras that can compete with or beat Apple I would buy that in a heartbeat. For the United States Phone market, if Oneplus ever stops making phones, the only place to go after this will be Apple, since ASUS is pulling away from the phone market currently, and Samsung now only coasts on their former reputation as a phone maker these days and is not a serious phone maker anymore, at least in my experience. That would be a very sad time. Monopolies are bad for all of us.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Phone you can buy
*by K***Z on February 1, 2026*

I switched from a Samsung Galaxy s24u Ultra, and I can honestly tell you this phone is the single greatest phone I have ever owned. It is buttery smooth, the customization is endless, the UI is leagues better and more optimized than one UI, the display is better, the speakers are better, with the AI help the cameras are better, and above all the battery is insane. You will struggle to drain it and when you do it charges SO FAST! Absolute game changer. I have no idea why or how Samsung is so far behind. This is the absolute benchmark in smart phones. I cannot recommend this phone enough. Seriously. I remember switching from iPhone to Samsung and thinking"wow what have I been missing all this time??" And now after switching from Samsung to OnePlus I feel that two fold. Just buy it, trust me.
