It’s a very very thin material and it is not easy to attach to the cage. It feels like cheap plastic tablecloth material and it doesn’t fully cover the cage

Not as great for outdoors
We got this cover to actually cover our cat's "catio" cage that is outside. We ordered it in black, but received khaki instead (we didn't care too much at the time that it was wrong). Khaki is definitely not blackout though, light easily penetrates through it - it's not that thick. Also, it was not helpful that the open side cannot be velcro-ed or tied down. When it's outdoors with inclement weather, it's flown off for us. I ordered this under the impression it could be left outside based off of the photos and that it says it's waterproof, sunproof, windproof, and even snow defense! I will report it is not very waterproof - the whole thing will also get soaked. I would say this product works if it is only placed indoors. Not optimal for outdoors as the photos may suggest.

Good quality bird house cover. Value for the money with good coverage. I like that it offers the Velcro window option. Been through winter, high winds, summer heat. Still holding strong.
