This is a well made butter container. It is very heavy, and I am concerned that it may be dropped when moving to the fridge. It easily holds all four sticks of butter in a pound package, but only the longer sticks, not the shorter ones that are so usually found today.

This thing is amazing. Fits a half pound Kerrygold easily, and really does keep the butter soft and spreadable! For context we live in a cold climate and an old house, so we usually look on winter as a time to move the butter closer to the stove, and that has not been necessary this year! The simple design has made it easy to clean and also easy to use on the table or the counter, as the lid doubles as a base!

CUTE. We’re using it with the deep dish end holding our butter and it’s working out lovely.

I love this butter dish and it looks great sitting on the counter. It’s big enough to hold a couple 1/4 cubes of butter or a full Irish butter.

It’s large! We buy butter from the farm in large rolls and this fits the size perfectly, once cut to size. Standard butter dishes are usually smaller. It’s minimalist and nice looking.
