The opener mounts solidly to the wall with the provided screws. The construction is gratuitously thick metal just like the old ones, so there's no wobble or flex when you open a bottle with it. It does the job and does it well, and it looks classy. I've got mine installed by the beer fridge in the barn. If anybody asks me about it, I'll just tell them my grandfather put it there 50 years ago. They'll never know.INSTRUCTIONS:For the uninitiated, its the top inner lip that does the opening- not the little tab poking out into the opening. Put your bottle in at a near-horizontal angle and push to rotate it back to its upright position. Voila.NOTE:You'll want to have something below the opener to catch the bottle caps or else you'll be picking them up off the floor.
