I recently purchased this Grandpa's Weeder, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. This tool has transformed my gardening experience! Pros: Ergonomic Design: The handle feels great in my hands, making it comfortable to use for extended periods. Efficient Weeding: It effectively removes weeds from their roots without disturbing the surrounding soil. I've noticed a significant reduction in weed regrowth. Durable Build: The quality of the materials is impressive. It feels sturdy and well-made, and I expect it to last for many seasons. Even for someone like me, who isn’t particularly handy, this weeder is easy to operate.

This works! Our yard was inundated with weeds this year. We don’t use poisons. This tool gets the whole weed up, roots and all - just by stabbing the weed and pulling the long handle sideways like a lever. No bending over, which is great when you’re pulling 100+ weeds! Easy to use. Also, my friend got this same brand weed puller at our local hardware store for $12. more! Very sturdy, heavy-duty and well-made. Highly recommend!

I happened to see this while looking through the gardening section. The reviews were good, I needed a better weeding tool. Wow, this thing is amazing. I am able to get roots of all sorts of weeds much easier than pulling by hand. It's quicker and more efficient. It's super simple to use, even my 5 year old can use it and she likes using this tool to help. I wish the handle were longer because it does hurt my back after a while. And I'm not tall. I can imagine this would be more of an issue for taller people.

This product is worth the money. Pulls weeds fast. Wish I got the longer handle. Prongs could be a little longer is why I gave it a 4. Good metal product.

This WORKS and is so easy to use it’s almost FUN! I can’t believe I actually liked pulling the dandelions! It works amazing and grabs those roots and pulls them all out in one chunk. Worked for Crab grass spots also.

Got one of these for myself and my hubby took it over. So I bought another for myself. Hubby likes it because it works easy, good, and helps his back not hurt, because the need to bend or kneel is eliminated. We recommend, and show how easy and effective it is to use to everyone!

I love my Grampa’s Weeder.❤️ My husband laughed at me because I just couldn’t stop plugging away at the unwanted plants in our back yard. It is light but strong. So darn easy to use, I don’t have to bend over. This maybe a Christmas gift for my kiddos and grands that garden. It is well worth the price, which I think is very reasonable.

Does this product work? Yes Will you enjoy it? Unlikely Would I buy it again. Absolutely not. The product design works simply enough. You press it in, lean to the side, and pull it out. Literally anyone could use it. Here are the problems I ran into: 1. The claw is pretty small. It will only work for simple weeds. It will not work well for large weeds like crab grass or anything smaller than perhaps a roll of quarters. 2. The claw is too short. It will not work well for deep weeds. The picture makes in the listing makes the claw look really long. It is not long. The weed is just very small. Because of its length, many times the weed breaks off as you pull it out. Great for surface level weeds, but not for anything deep like dandelions. 3. You will not bend over to pull out the weeds. You will, however, bend over to pull the weed out of the claw and to pick it up when it falls to the ground instead of the bucket. The claw is well made of solid metal. Because of this, the dirt sticks to the claw every time. There is no eject mechanism other than your own hands. I will not return it. It technically does the job. Back in 1913 it was probably amazing. That said, in 2026, I wish I had picked another design.

I was a bit doubtful at first, I usually am with tools that claim to be really easy to use. But when I got home, I didn’t even get a chance to try it myself. My wife was already in the garden, laughing at how easy it was to pull out all the annoying weeds. She showed me how it works. Just line it up, push it down with your foot, tilt it to the side, and you’re done. It’s really simple to use, pulls weeds out with hardly any effort, and no more sore back afterwards. I also wasn’t sure how strong the foot part would be, but since you just lean it to the side, it doesn’t take much force, so there’s not much strain on it. Good price, certain seems strong enough to use and very lightweight. Not too heavy to hold for a long time. Looking forward to weeding now.

I have servere arthritis so my mobility is limited & I am unable to kneel down to weed so I thought I'd look for a weeder that would work upright & didn't require bending. I did some research & liked the simplicity of this weeder so I order one. I have been able to weed most of my backyard from crabgrass in just a matter of minutes. I don't like using chemicals as I have a dog & it's not good for the environment so this is the go to tool for removing those stubborn weeds from your lawn. I absolutely love it & even though I have arthritis it is still very easy to use & also helps keep me active in the garden. 5 stars for sure.

This is by far the best weeding tool I’ve ever owned. It is easy to use, extremely durable, well built and probably will outlive me. No bending over pulling weeds, those days are GONE!!!

Funciona muy bien, en especial si la tierra está húmeda, pero si está muy seca o es peñasco no agarra tan bien. Me gustó mucho y es muy divertido, tanto que me puse a sacar hierbas toda la tarde! Es un excelente complemento a otras herramientas de jardín!

If I could give it more than five stars, I would. Simple mechanism that works perfectly. No plastic parts!! Sturdy wood and metal. Makes weed pulling easy. Highly recommend!!
