These neon bulbs only draw 1ma (.001 amps) or less with a current limiting resistor in series. The wattage at 1 ma and 120 volts is 1/8 watt or less for these lamps. **Q: If you don't have a limiting resistor, will the bulbs work if there are three bulbs connected in series, to 120v AC ??** A: These lamps are designed to run in the 100vAC +/- 10v range yes, but I believe you are still going to introduce some resistance in the circuit to limit the current of line input. My guess is that they would work in the configuration you described, but the life expectancy of the lamps would be severely reduced. Good news is that you have 100pcs to experiment with. **Q: What is the minimum trigger (or breakdown) DC voltage?** A: Dear customer, it's AC220V.
