Works well
At first I was worried about my bluebirds, but they figured it out and have built a nest in the nest box. No more snakes!

Worth the try for the price of two good quality guards.

I have not yet installed the guard but it looks easy and shoud do the job.

Disappointing result
This cage like device did not deter the sparrows. A sparrow hopped right onto the mesh wire and into the birdhouse that was meant for the bluebird. I am admitting that sparrows were in that bluebird house last season after pushing the bluebird out. That's why I purchased this kit to keep that from happening again. Disappointed it did not work. Still have blue birds in my yard because we put out mealworm, but would like them to nest here too.

Takes them a while but it works
I would like to correct my review earlier. It did take some time but the bluebird have figured out how to get inside the cage and are doing just fine.
