Very good
I’m happy with my Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds. As someone who also owns Bose QC35, QC45 and AirPods Pro, I was curious how these would compare, and I think the sound quality is great and hold up well across music genres, and I haven’t felt like I’m missing anything compared to my other headphones. I’ve seen some comments about people not being satisfied with the sound, but in my experience they’re very well‑tuned and enjoyable to listen to whether I’m working out or just relaxing with music. The noise cancelling does a solid job of reducing distractions, and the heart‑rate monitor and fit make them great for exercise. Battery life so far is good, easily lasting through long days. The wireless charging case is bigger than the airpod pro. They are sweat‑resistant, which is perfect for gym sessions. Overall, these are a great pair of wireless earbuds with strong sound performance, great battery life, and features that work seamlessly with both Apple and Android devices. I’d definitely recommend them.

Really good headphones and great battery life
Good sound and volume. Stay in my ears when exercising but the stand out for me is battery life. Not just the headphones but the base as well. I’ve not changed the base for a month as it’s in my gym bag and I use the headphones 4 times a week. Still charging.

Good quality ear buds for sport
I have Powerbeats Pro as well as these, and I have to say, the Powerbeats Pro are slightly more comfortable, with a larger and slightly softer ear hook. The difference in sound quality between the two is only noticeable when you engage the noise reduction in the app - you have the choice of toggling it on or off and there's also a 'transparency' setting, which I imagine would be useful if using them outside. Some have considered the sound a little 'tinny'. In comparison to Powerbeats Pro, Powerbeats Pro do have a slightly smoother sound, but the sound on the Powerbeats Pro 2, is clear, bright, and crisp, and definitely has enough bass to give them the necessary depth of sound; therefore, I wouldn't describe them as 'tinny', but if you like a lot of bass and heavy bass, then these won't give you that. They charge quickly and keep their charge. They come with a selection of ear tips, so you can get the right fit for you, and are charged with a bog-standard USB C cable, so no need to shop specialised Beats shop for a replacement cable, like the older models. Volume control is easy - up on the earbud itself and the button is more prominent on these, so easier to find. When in noise cancellation mode, the volume sounds louder, and you can override the recommended listening level on the app. I don't recommend it - the max volume is loud! They are expensive, but they are top quality - really sturdy, and you get what you pay for. My only issue with the design, as I stated earlier, is the smaller ear hook and the slightly harder material, which can put pressure behind the ear and on the tragus, when worn for a long time. Easy to clean. Overall, expensive, but worth it, if you want good quality ear buds for sport.

Use a larger ear tip!
I opened these, tried them and like most others, thought they sounded funny and awful. I was ready to send them back. After some research, updating to the latest firmware and using an ear tip size one size larger than normal was recommended. These fit differently to PBP1, they’re much more comfortable and don’t push into your ears as much. Hence the sizing up for the ear tip. I followed this advice and the sound is miles better. The tinny, sibilant sound was gone, and the fuller sound that I was familiar with was back. I would say these are on par with Powerbeats Fit (which I also own). Not quite as good as APP3 (which I also own). Closer to APP2 sound quality. Plenty for working out. I have these as well as the Powerbeats Fit as these will not come off when it rains. The wireless charging, H2 chip and heart rate sensor are very welcome.

Shockingly bad
Ladies and gentlemen, let me not mince words here. These are absolutely, unequivocally the worst headphones I have ever had the misery of owning and by a country mile. I've had cheap knock-off headphones before for 20quid that had a suboptimal fit but did the job and had half-decent sound quality. These headphones, supposedly the cutting edge of portable audio technology, are a real nightmare. The battery life lasts about 2 hours from full charge if I'm being generous. They're fiddly, always accidentally pausing or skipping. Connecting is unnecessarily complicated and often causes problems taking ages to connect. And the cherry on the cake, after *not even* 6 months, the right headphone is completely dead. Nothing. Unless this price includes Dr. Dre personally coming to my house and playing some live music, this is a shocking scam. Terrible folks, really terrible. Hope I saved someone a hundred or so quid with this *UPDATE* days after the right headphone stopped working, the whole thing is now dead. Bricked. Luckily I have my cheap 7 year old Chinese headphones that still work and do what they are supposed to.... The price tag on these steaming piles of dog waste is truly unbelievable

MASSIVE LET-DOWN!! Bass is significantly worse :(
I originally purchased the original Powerbeats Pro when they were released in 2019 which continues to blow me away. They worked flawlessly for 4 years until I regrettably lost them, hence ended buying another pair which I use almost daily. I was excited to learn that Apple released an updated model which I had to try out but unfortunately I've been left very disappointed. Everything about the product aside from the most important thing is arguably better. The case is smaller, supports type C and wireless charging and the microphone quality for phone calls is massively improved (hence the 3 stars, otherwise would've been lower). The overall sound quality is slightly better but not significant for what is supposed to be a 6 year leap and the heart rate sensor is just a gimmick. The let-down is with the bass, having next to none low-end bass the new Powerbeats Pro 2 are significantly worse than the original Powerbeats Pro and this is a deal breaker for me. The whole purpose of these headphones are to be exceptional workout headphones for gym and fitness actives where I imagine the majority of users will be listening to pretty bass heavy motivational music. For this reason it is unforgivable for the bass to be worse than the original Powerbeats Pro despite everything else being better. It appears Apple have taken the decision to make this a fitness oriented earbuds that can be an all-rounder with ANC and a good mic whereas the original Powerbeats were purely dedicated to fitness only by delivering exceptional bass. I would have no issues had the newer model delivered at the very least an identical bass profile, but they don't :( Wasted opportunity!! Original were mid-blowing exceptional though be it had a bad mic for calls. The new Powerbeats 2 improved everything aside from the most important thing - the bass, which they made worse. I'm sending these back and will be ordering a second unit of the 2019 Powerbeats Pro (original) before they sell out, to keep as a spare second pair. UPDATE I purchased these whilst they were on a Black Friday deal for £149, which is somewhat reasonable but the audio quality is on par with earbuds in the £120 - £140 price range. I am astonished to learn the normal selling price is £249 which is absolutely ludacris... You're paying Apple Airpods Pro 3 money for something that's around half as good. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Get the Bose QuietComfort Ultra or the Sony WF-1000XM5 or even the AirPods Pro 3 if you have to, all of which are better by a long margin whilst also being cheaper. If you strictly want fitness specific, go with the original PowerBeats Pro.

Fantastic quality and sound.
These are excellent. I love how they fit compared to the first generation Beats. The noise cancelling is superb. However I would not recommend these for teens or when carrying out activities that require you to be conscious and aware of your surroundings. The quality of music played is fab. They connect well and last well without a charge.

Best ever sound!
Best sound ever in a wireless in ear... As simple as that. Checked reviews carefully. Following Sony and Apple ranges before, these are simply incredible in clarity, depth and creating a 360 degree dimension. Tested on Tidal. Noise cancellation is superb. Behind ear clamp prevent accidental fall outs, a major headache with some devises these days, Controls will take time to get use to. They are expensive, and I was able to afford them due to Amazon resell, presumably these were returns, knocking off 1/3 of the sales price, making them extreme Value for money. But even without the discount, they appear ti be well built quality so worth the price on the market.
