Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens (Renewed)

I have a canon EOS 3000D and needed a wide-angle lens to take real estate photos for my small photography business. This ended up being the best lens I could have gotten for my camera and my business. It can beautifully capture corner to corner in a very large room. The lens is equipped with an auto focus that works extremely well. When I need to edit the photos after the photoshoot, there is no imperfections in the photo. It is simply: perfect. If you are hesitant to buy something that has been refurbished, don't. It acts as if it were just pulled off the assembly line. If it wasn't for this lens, I would not be where I am in my photographer business today.

The wide angle lens is incredible for the rebel t7i, if you want to get into real estate photography I would strongly recommend this lens. Very affordable intro lens.

What can I say? It's my favorite lens by far! I love landscape photography and woodland photography and I hardly ever have to take this lens off my camera. You can get such interesting exaggerated angles using this and it's so much fun to experiment with (even indoors). If you love landscape photography, you need to add this to your collection. I got the renewed version and I can't tell it apart from new. It's in perfect condition and zooming is smooth and autofocus is so quiet you won't even hear it. It's also very, very sharp for a zoom lens. It's a lot sharper than my kit lens and It's almost the same quality as a prime (almost). I've never owned an L lens, so I can't compare it to something like that, but it's very very sharp to my eye. Maybe a little softer in the corners, but that's to be expected with such a wide angle lens.

Based on the reviews, I’ve read, I expected the shipping to be in a box with no padding or cushioning, however, it would appear the company listens to the reviews that people leave and make improvements based on them! Kudos! Lens works perfectly! I’d imagine people who received a product that was less than their expectations had a rougher refurbishment. The lens I received had very minimal notations that would make it obvious it was refurbished. The lens attachment piece that prevents light bleed has minimal plastic degradation, but it is purely cosmetic and functions perfectly nonetheless. I plan to use this lens as an entry into real estate photography. I had some friends reach out asking if I’d be interested in taking these photos so I invested in this affordable lens to give me the range I needed to capture their home at an affordable price. This lens brings my total lens inventory to five. 10 to 18. 50 prime. 18 to 55 kit. 24 to 105. And Lastly, 70 to 300. All the lenses I own are very affordable and this piece completed my capability on a budget.
