Superb Irish pot still whiskey!
One of the finest whisky/whiskeys I've ever tasted, and I've tasted many. It's several notches above the excellent Redbreast 12 at 40%, I suspect superior barrel selection is one of the reasons. Expensive but worth it!

Lovely and/but expensive
Another lovely Redbreast. I do like our Irish whiskey. Expensive and really nice, but really for a special gift or purchase. I would still be more than happy with the normal 12 year old. NB. Most annoyed I STILL can't buy whiskey (or whisky) on Amazon because I live in Northern Ireland! Bl**dy Brexit! Come on Amazon, its not like you don't make a profit or that I haven't contributed massively to your coffers! Sort it!

NOT B1/16!!
Although still a very accomplished whisky, this was bought for a whiskey tasting and somewhat embarrassing when you have not got the highly acclaimed B1/16 (I had previously managed to get the B1/17) but the B2/19. This advert needs updating.

Ich mag Whisky. Ich mag Irischen Whiskey. Und ich mag Fass- Stärke. Bin ich also mit diesem Destillat im Himmel angekommen? Also zumindest auf dem Weg dorthin... Ich habe die ganze Redbreast Produkt Range und muss sagen, nach dem sowieso kosmisch guten 21 Jährigen Redbreast ist der 12y Cask Strengh mein zweit liebster. Auch in Punkto Preis- Leistung Verhältnis. Geschmäcker sind ja verschieden, darum erspare ich mir meine rein subjektiven Eindrücke. Aber in Blind- tastings ist dieser Whiskey regelmäßig erkannt worden von mir und meinen Gästen. Selbst Meine Frau attestiert mir Küsstauglichkeit nach dem Konsum...und das ist dann vermutlich sowieso das beste Qualitäts Siegel.
