It says that the product contains milk. Would that be whole, lowfat or nonfat?

The package does not say what kind of milk. It lists the ingredients as banana flakes, bimuno. The bimuno has listed as one of its ingredients , lactose. The package says CONTAINS MILK. It is low in lactose, 0.72g / serving.

What is a latex fruit allergy?

Could you describe the consistency of this product? Is it more like flakes of banana, or is it powdered banana? Thanks for your help

It is more like flakes, they do not dissolve, can some times clump together but will break apart easily when stirred. Depending on how much liquid is added, it can seem like a puréed banana. I add mine to cereal.

Is there a lactose free version of this?

Banatrol Plus contains two sources of soluble fiber. A dehydrated banana flake and a prebiotic, (galactooligosaccaride) called Bimuno. Bimuno is a fermentable fiber that is derived from milk so it naturally contains a trivial amount of lactose. Most people who are lactose intolerant, tolerate it without issue. The amount of lactose per serving is equivalent to about 1 teaspoon of milk or 5 milliliters. The lactose is naturally occurring in the product and cannot be removed. This clinically supported product is a natural alternative to traditional diarrhea intervention. It has been shown to be very well tolerated in a variety of settings to control the frequency and consistency of diarrhea and loose stool. Great flavor and it works!

This stuff works very well

I went from daily diarrhea and a few blowouts that soiled my clothing, to as soon as I started using the product the bowel movements got firmer with no constoation. It's all about balancing gut bacteria. Now I'm having normal movements and I'm just taking a half a scoop a day to maintain. This product is a godsend I was wearing pads to cover my underwear and was afraid to go anywhere or eat anything and now I'm free. But the banana flavor tastes like yucky baby food so I use minimal water and choke it down thick, then I chase it with water to get tge taste overwith quickly.

Clumps

I find that it works very well, but I'm having issues trying to dissolve it completely! I've used a frother, but still leaving clumps! I just gulp it down and chew the remaining clumps. In the end I will chew the clumps in order to get the results I'm receiving!
