Genuinely high quality matcha at an insane value/affordability
I've tried both this version (Naturebell) and the ":D" (Deal Supplement) brand of matcha, both 2 pounds. naturally, they are the two competing offerings for 2 pounds of matcha geared towards offering a good value proposition for consumers. when I was trying to find matcha, it came down to these two versions, so this review is geared towards those who are comparing the two. Naturebell is far and away the superior version over the ":D" Deal Supplement brand in their 2 pound matcha offerings. Naturebell's matcha is far brighter, the color is far more intense, the flavor is much clearer than the ":D" Deal Supplement version, and possibly finer as it was easier to dissolve this version than the Deal Supplement one. The Naturebell version is the far superior offering for making matcha lattes or any baked goods as the color intensity is still very bright and intense even after being mixed with any sort of milk, cream, or mixture. I was actually somewhat surprised by what a significant difference there was in the color intensity and flavor between the two versions. I can confirm that the Deal Supplement version is much duller and grayer than the Naturebell version. The Naturebell version is much tastier too. There is no bitterness when making more concentrated drinks, and the flavor of matcha is still retained! In comparison, the Deal Supplement version is very bitter the more concentrated it becomes, which is unfortunate since the color is duller too, so I needed to add more matcha to whatever I was drinking. But that is not an issue with the Naturebell version, surprisingly. I originally bought this version after I finished the Deal Supplement version and I was shopping around to see similar offerings in 2 pounds of matcha (or anything of high volume, low price). These are the two versions that offer the best price value for the pound/grams that is offered, and I can safely say that the Naturebell version is the superior version in every way. As of this review, it is even more affordable too, so the choice should be obvious. I highly recommend this matcha offering, and I personally intend on buying this version for matcha from hereon out (unless anything changes of course)

Beautiful, Green, Delicious Ice Cream
I’m making homemade ice cream these days and love my matcha ice cream with agave and protein powder. But I wanted to add ube like in a ribbon or layers. So I purchased this powder and ube and I’m so happy I did. It is so delicious. You get a large tub for your money. The flavor is rich and delicious. It was packaged nicely, none spilled, and the cost was right for the amount you get. I will be buying it again unless the cost goes up. Yum!!! I mix my matcha with a little hot water and my frother first before adding a little whipping cream and regular milk. Great quality and beautiful green color! Delicious!

Perfect for Culinary uses, in a 1 Pound Container.
It is a proper, dark green and loose powder matcha. I use it to mix my own matcha lattes and it blends nicely into a pale jade colored matcha drink. It tastes great, its smooth, and a little goes a long way. It is strong. On a scale of matcha quality I would rate it a C rank. It is not ceremonial grade of course, but it isn't a terrible grade at all. It is true to the culinary grade listing, and comes in a 1 pound container. This will last me a while and a lot cheaper than going to a cafe. I also have control over the sweetener content. There is no sugar or sweetener in this matcha, and it will be great for antioxidant health benefits. I do add a bit of collagen and monk fruit stevia to mine, and it is perfect. Will be buying again.

Good for daily use
It’s not ceremonial grade, but for the price and size, it is solid. The flavor is mild, not too bitter, and it gives a nice, clean energy boost. It mixes fairly well, though you may get some clumps unless you whisk or stir a bit longer. Packaging could be better, but overall it is a practical option for lattes, smoothies, or daily matcha without spending a lot $

High Quality! Fantastic taste and no harsh bite...
This is some high quality matcha. The color is dark and rich with a smooth texture. Very easy to mix and is super fresh. It's so good that I don't have to add any sweetener... that's amazing! We WILL be buying more of this exceptional matcha. Thank you!

Large container with fine-ground Matcha powder, no lumps
I'm hooked! Never had Matcha before, so have nothing to compare this large container of fine bright-green powder with. Yum. My husband still likes hot chocolate better, but this matcha will take the place of my morning coffee sometimes. No instructions on container, so my first cup was a "trial". I have a small milk steamer (I actually use non-fat half and half), with a scoop of matcha and a bit of stevia or raw sugar. Found a few lumps in the first cup that I gave my husband...he sort of eyed it strangely!. Found that while the milk was frothing/steaming, I put about a 1/8 cup of water in microwave to boil, then added the sugar, and matcha to dissolve. Then the frothy milk. The container is large and will last me quite a while and the price was best of all I looked at. Yes, it's not ceremonial matcha, but good nevertheless. Has a slight "grassy" taste, but I'm only maybe imagining using grass. If there's a scoop inside, I'm not digging it out - just used a long-handled ice tea spoon to stir. The quality of the powder in the container was not lumpy, just even powder. Dissolved easily in a bit of boiling water, but had a few lumps in my first "trial" cup that my husband got. I recommend and will buy more.

Vibrant Color, Smooth Taste — Great Value Matcha
I’m fairly new to the matcha scene, but I am absolutely in love with this product. I recently gave up coffee due to a thyroid disorder and replaced it with matcha, and this has been a great transition for me. I’d love to try ceremonial-grade matcha someday, but for the price, I’ll probably stick with this one for now. The powder is a beautiful, vibrant green, dissolves easily with my frother whisk, and tastes amazing — smooth and not bitter. I especially appreciate the more balanced, sustained energy that this matcha provides, thanks to the natural caffeine paired with L-theanine. It gives me a calm, focused boost without the jitters I used to get from coffee. This has been a really positive experience so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing to explore matcha and learning more as I go.

Good Everyday Matcha for Lattes and Smoothies
I’ve recently started drinking more matcha and decided to try this NatureBell Organic Matcha powder. So far, I’ve had a really good experience with it. The powder has a nice vibrant green color and mixes well when I whisk it with hot water or blend it into a latte. It dissolves fairly easily and doesn’t leave a lot of clumps if you whisk it properly. The flavor is smooth with a mild earthy taste and only a slight bitterness, which I actually enjoy in matcha. I mainly use this for matcha lattes and smoothies, and it works great for that. Since it’s a culinary grade matcha, it’s a good option for mixing into drinks or recipes rather than drinking it completely plain. One thing I also like is that the container is quite large, so it lasts a long time even if you make matcha regularly. A small scoop goes a long way. Overall, this has been a good everyday matcha for my home drinks, and I would consider buying it again.
