When in the rental car it helps with the inconsiderate fools behind that do not understand what the "blue" light on their dash means.When the sun is on your side of the car, it helps shield the direct sun. The view through on a bright day is best described as looking through water. Morning sun through the side window, IMO, barely helps because of the sparkling glare.Found the plastic is somewhat smoother if they are kept flat instead of folded up. Can lay them on the back seat with the sticky side together. Pull slowly but steady when needed for use.
