it would have been perfect for multiple reasons
Brought it with on my first trip camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. Thankfully I never had to use it but had I needed it, it would have been perfect for multiple reasons: 1) It's size. You open it up and wonder where everything is. But after starting to look through it, you realize how well everything is put together and how much stuff is actually in it. If you feel like it's missing anything, there is still plenty of room for additional items. It fit great in my pack and didn't take up an unncessary space since it isn't made of hard plastic it can be bent and folded. Which leads me to... 2) Quality. This case could be attached to the outside of my pack and survive the elevements. Everything is sealed in plastic bags so even if I leave a zipper open on it and it gets water on the inside everything will remain dry. It's tough material that can withstand a beating if you are outside and it's constantly in the elements. The stainless steal scissors that come with it make a great, tough addition to it. 3) Price. When you're spending any money on first aid kits or medical suplies, you don't want to skimp out. This has the best of both worlds. You get a great product for a great price. You really can't beat that. As I mentioned before, if you feel like it's missing something, just add to it as it has the space and room for it. You won't be dissapointed with this product and it's perfect for camping where there isn't any medical buildings or personnel nearby. But it also could be used for your car, kids sports games, or around the house!

The Best First Aid Kit Is The One That's With You - and this one will be.
We had to use it yesterday for the first time, and just like ti says on the packaging: "The best First Aid Kit is the one that's with you!" (or something like that) Well, that can't be truer. This little Kit is TINY and can be taken everywhere, you can stuff it in your backpack, put one in your car, you can even have one in your purse... it takes so little space but you can always be prepared to help in case of accident. YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT. Even though it's tiny, the Kit has everything needed: several gauzes, scissors, wraps, band-aids, etc, even a warming blanket. Being a small black rectangle shape, it looks really good and it's made out of tough, durable materials. As they say in the description you can even put it on your belt if you're gonna go do some outdoor activity. I can see parents being able to always have this with them and be prepared for any boo boos and accidents their kids or kids' friends might have. In short, it's super convenient and it has everything you'd need. I couldn't ask for more.

Needs a bit of quality control but customer service is willing to fix it.
It has a decent mix of products. One useless item was a sterile nonaherent pad. The paper wrapping was yellowed with age and the pad was not sterile due to the package being open. I'll replace it with my own product to keep the kit complete. Dec.14- A customer service person sent me a message to call her in regards to sending me a replacement kit due to the defective pad. Tried phoning her a couple of times but gave up. Always busy. I left a message on their web page about the replacement and left my address but nothing happen with that. I had wondered how they would separate fraudulent claims from someone who has a legitimate problem. If they had sent a replacement kit I would have given them five stars. So it remains at two stars. The kit is still good. If they were really working on customer service they should have a direct link to leave a message instead of at a general message location that needs to be redirected. I had forgotten about leaving a message until I received a email from Juli Allen the person in charge of customer service. Jan 9,2016: The customer service person sent me a message concerning what can be done. She expressed the desire to correct anything problem which is good. This time I was given a direct email. I'm not looking for a free kit but her willingness to send a replacement kit was generous. That is what counts in my opinion. Their kit is a good kit. A heavier material is used for the kit container and it has a adequate mix of products. I added a couple other things to fit my needs.

Great Start for an Individual First Aid Kit
This product is a great value. First it's a nice size to easily stuff into a backpack, maybe a larger purse, or stow under your seat in your vehicle. The pouch itself is made of a fabric that seems sturdy, and I think it will hold up to abuse. It includes many essential items for first aid, such as bandages of different sizes, gauze, gloves, and a decent pair of emergency scissors. I held back one star because I think every first aid kit should have some type of tourniquet for arterial bleeding, so I highly recommend buying one and adding it to this kit. I also purchased a lightweight poncho, a nasopharengial airway tube, a QuikClot pad, and a set of chest seals. All considered, this kit is a great place to start a well-rounded emergency kit. I highly recommend that anyone considering a kit like this do thorough research, make a list of items that address all the situations for which they wish to be prepared, buy those items immediately, and seek any training necessary to effectively use them. Be prepared, stay ready, and God bless.

Is GREAT for it's purpose !
Received FAK & it was pretty much what was expected. It is a well thought out FAK that is compact, light weight and very portable. It is not meant to be a comprehensive pack that holds a lot more medical supplies. The philosophy of use for this product is to be a FAK that is light enough and compact enough that you would not hesitate to bring it with you on a hike or weekend camping outing or perhaps even to the beach or to a picnic. It is certainly small enough to put in a glove compartment or at the very least in the trunk of your car without taking too much space. A lot of times when a FAK is too heavy or cumbersome you may end up not bringing it along. Then you may be stuck with nothing at all when you need it. I kept this in mind when I added my own items to the kit. There is no perfect FAK because you must always choose between a more comprehensive kit that has more supplies but is heavier & bulkier versus a less comprehensive kit which is lighter & more portable that you are more likely to take with you on hikes, picnics & other outings. Instead of looking for that "perfect" FAK it may be a good idea to keep an additional FAK in your trunk that is more comprehensive. By having two different types of FAKs you will have the lighter one to take on short hikes or picnics and the more comprehensive one that you leave in your trunk as a backup. The point is to have different types of FAKs for different purposes. Or if you don't want to have more than one FAK, then determine how comprehensive of a kit you want, then look for a FAK that meets those needs. Or you can buy a FAK that is close to what you want and then add items to suit your needs. THIS product meets my objectives of a light, compact kit that has a lot of the necessary items included given its portable size. And it still has some space for me to place additional items. The case itself is sturdy & has enough elastic loops and pockets to help keep things in place. There are velcro attachments and 2 strips with snaps on them so you can quickly attach the kit to a backpack or your belt. Makes a great gift for friends and family.

A++
The pack alone is excellent... sturdy, rugged, compact. There's an outside pocket w/substantial velcro to close from inside. Inside has just about all you'll need, however we all use extra/different first aid items. The scissors have a serrated edge and a 90 that hits against it to cut. It does cut. You can, if you try, stuff the pack past what it contains.. There's several, abt 7, small ziploc's included for certain pills, ie aspirin, Tylenol, ibuprofen+/-, There's two pockets inside to help separate contents, 1 main compartment... It holds it well. This isn't a flimsy kit. There's substantial velcro to hold it on your belt firmly . With the velcro straps are 2 strong snap straps. This kit will fit outside a pack snug if the straps are available. I'd like to have a few of these pouches alone..they're really tough & useful.... 5 Stars!

Great size IFAK but unreliable snaps - UPDATE 7/30/17
First, kudos to the manufacturer for selecting not only a wise selection of supplies, but also for making it in such a compact form factor. I verified contents upon receipt and everything is accounted for. The zipper feels sturdy and I ran some beeswax on it so the teeth stayed in good shape for when (if) I need this. Sadly, when I went to snap it into the MOLLE tailgate storage in the Jeep, the snaps aren't good at all. I had a lot of difficulty since it's so snug (which is a GOOD thing) so I emptied out the pouch. Still no avail. They snap will very little actual "snap" and come undone easily. If they couldn't manage to get great snaps, they could have made it a little more low-profile by just putting MOLLE loops on it so I could use some "speed clips" to securely attach this pack. Overall, it's a really solid unit but the selling points for me were contents and MOLLE, so it missed some crucial marks for me. If you're just buying this to put on a belt or stuff in a pack, it should work great... just think twice about depending on the snaps to keep it on your MOLLE loops. UPDATE JULY 7, 2017: Part of good customer service is prompt and effective service recovery. I wasn't expecting anything in response to the review I left last night but I did indeed get a response. While I still consider the pack a 3-star item for the reasons stated, the seller made a huge effort to make sure my experience was great. I'm changing my review to 5 stars to accurately reflect the entire experience. UPDATE JULY 30, 2017: The seller has been hard at work making things better, and I recently received a new pack from them. I'm happy to report that the MOLLE snaps are a lot more secure. There's a crisp snap when they engage and I've put the new pack into service in my Jeep. After a couple weeks of banging around off road and catching potholes around town, everything is rock steady. I couldn't be happier with this product and the seller is one of the good ones out there. FYI, if this pack doesn't have all that you need, there's a little room to stash a few extra goodies to custom tailor it to your needs. Thanks for reading.

Very Small
First of all, I bought this kit based on the size stated in the description, which was listed a 3X5X7 inches. My purpose in buying it was to remove some of the items and add a tourniquet and hemostatic gauze so I could use it as a trauma kit. The unsewn size of the ripstop nylon may very well be 3X5X7, but the finished size is considerably smaller - 5.5X4X2, so it's not large enough for my purposes. The kit itself seems to be of decent quality, and if you're just looking for a handy first aid kit this will probably fit the bill and is a reasonable price for what it is. It has belt loops and looks to be very handy. Just realize that if you have any ambitions of expanding its capabilities you're probably not going to be successful.
