I'm on a journey to get my hair healthy again as it had started to go thin due to menopause. I used to bleach my roots every 8 weeks or so in order to have bright fashion colours ( pink/ purple ) , and with doing this a lot of hair at the nape of my neck and around my hairline had broken off. Since having ditched the bleach and the broken parts now growing back in nicely my hair was starting to look a bit drab as I have lots of white hairs at the root ( about 4 inches worth ). I was just using my usual semi permanent colours, but after about 3 washes the white hair was popping through again and sticking out like a sore thumb. I spent a good deal of time looking for purple colours on Amazon that cover grey/white hair. And I came across this one which is permanent. It's not going to do as much damage to my hair as bleach will as it is a conditioning based permanent dye so I'm so happy that I can now carry on having purple 💜 hair without struggling on how I'm going to cover my white hair and risking more damage to my hair. This hair dye is absolutely amazing, it is thick in consistency as it is a conditioning based permanent hair dye so trying to squeeze it from the bottle once mixed is hard work so next time I will put it in a bowl mix it and use a brush. The colour came out even all over and my hair didn't feel dry after so I'm happy that I am not doing damage to my hair. Highly , highly recommend this dye it is the best!. Update after having washed it 3 times , the colour has faded but it's still really vibrant and such a beautiful colour. I did find that the colour faded a lot more quickly than other permanent hair dyes do , as the vibrancy normally lasts a lot longer with other brands , but it faded to a nice lilac colour after about 6 washes , I wash my hair once a week for reference, so if you wash your hair more often then the colour will fade a lot quicker.

I've used lots of different hair dye brands in the past. This one is by far the most vibrant! Lovely to put on, fast develop time and easy to wash off, despite the vibrant colour it did not stain my head like other have done. Will definitely be buying again!

I purchased two of these at the same time,but sadly won't be buying anymore. The colour turns out to be l9vely and vibrant and I loved it when i'd first used it. Unfortunately it completely washed out after only a couple of washes.I tried the 2nd pack i'd bought thinking maybe I hadn't applied it correctly or something(slthough I'm accomplished at hair dying)-but exactly the same thing happened,despite my using speciality shampoos for dyed hair. I was so upset by this as I loved the vibrancy of the colour,but since i'd paid nearly double what I usually pay for my usual "off the shelf"dye,I expected it yo have lasted for more than a week.It wasn't that it gradually faded either,it just completely washed out. I contacted the company's customer service to explain my issue,but I didn't find their attitude to be very accommodating. Firstly they implied that I may need to use more than one pack at once for longer or thicker hair,even though I explained to them that I had medium to fine short hair!. They then suggested that I purchase some of their temporary treatments to use alongside this supposed "permament"dye to maintain the colour longer-which I found to be a insulting suggestion as this one lasted so poorly,I doubted a temporary colourr would fare better. It's such a shame as like I've said the colour initially comes out beautifully vibrant and I loved it.However,i'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for a purple type colour to just stick with the better known brands that have a far cheaper price and definitely more longevity.

Unpacking: The box comes with gloves and the two colour components. No after treatment, no plastic head wrap. Odd, but nothing a cut plastic bag and my usual conditioner cant sort out. Application: Straight forward on dry hair. Oddly enough the colour did not change when the two bottles were mixed or when it was applied to my hair. Colour performance: First of all, my hair is white now ( previously blonde). This means it normally soaks up colour like a very thirsty person in a desert, but alas no permanent colour stays permanent. They all wash out after two weeks, the cheap or the expensive ones. The result here was...faint. Not at all like in the picture. The colour was true, but more like purple haze than purple rain. Gentle. Delicate. Barely there, but still noticeable. Not at all unpleasant. Just not what I was expecting or hoping for. I fear it will wash out pretty quickly, but for a once in a while booster for a special occasion, why not. Overall hair: This was the biggest, most pleasant surprise. I just washed the hair afterwards without any conditioner or mask, yet my hair was shiny, silky and soft. Easy to combe, looks and feels undamaged. Will probably buy again. As a special treat. Just dont expect to get what the picture promises.

I’m buying this brand for the second time. The colour itself looks very nice.But Doesn’t Not cover the grey/white roots!!!! However it’s very hard to use the mixed container,it’s just stuck and you need keep outing the container or even open it and ad some water so it’s can get trough. Very bad packaging,it’s can be used straightforwardly. Also,it’s not fully cover the white roots and although it’s says that’s its permanent,it’s not last til next wash! The colour is nice but..,

I love this hair dye so much! This is the first time I’ve tried this brand of dye and it’s really good!! I went with the “amethyst purple” colour to cover up my old faded purple and it worked so well!! I really like the fact that the dye doesn’t make my hair feel like straw when washing like my previous dye did so I will be definitely using this brand again!

I have previously had my hair dyed red by a professional, but being unable to get to a salon again during these times, I took the chance to touch up my hair at home. I also decided I wanted something more orange-red than the dark-red I had. This is definitely a bright orange shade, but after a few washes fades down a bit. I love it and have already ordered again.

I have very light blonde hair (almost white) and I followed the instructions to the letter and I didn't get any colour al all - complete waste of time and money.

I’ve had purple hair since 2018 so I would say I have years of experience with a variety of bright color hair dyes from many different brands. My natural hair color is medium dark brown, but I’ve had gray hair since I was a kid and 30-35% of it is gray. Semi-permanent color doesn’t really cover my grays, so I had to use Ion Permanent Brights in purple for my roots, and ArcticFox for the rest, which after trying MULTIPLE brands, this was the one that worked the best for me. I’d still had to co-wash my hair only once a week to make the color last as long as possible, re-color it once a month, and re-touch my roots every 6-8 weeks depending on growth. I love my purple hair but the maintenance process is exhausting! I NEEDED to find a more permanent solution. I stumbled upon Colour-Plex in Amethyst so I decided to give it a shot. I washed my hair with a clarifying shampoo before applying to get rid off as much of the previous color as possible. First impression: Colour-Flex was very easy to mix, it smelled good, application was smooth, and there was just enough product to fully cover my entire shoulder length thick hair. The recommended processing time is 25 minutes, but I left it on about an hour before washing it with cold water using only conditioner and rinsed it until the water was clear. I have to say that I’m very impressed with the results and I like it so far! Once my hair dried, I noticed that my grays were completely covered and it deposited enough color on the rest of my hair so I didn't need to use a color mask after to get it to the shade I like. The color is a deep purple with blue undertones that looks almost black inside and bright purple in natural light, my hair smells amazing and it is sooo soft! Also, I noticed that my hands and nails weren’t stained after styling it, which is a problem I’ve dealt with my previous method. It might be too soon to tell, but I’ll comeback with an update after wash day.
