Review: This works perfectly to give me the lower assist on the tailgate of my 2021 Ford Ranger. It's I had one on there before and the issue was the item or part that attaches to the tailgate itself the little bracket rusted out and the little ball that the shock is attached to broke off so I ordered this thinking for the price you know I might as well replace all the items and I did even include a little thing of Loctite blue which is fantastic.
