M2 Black Forest Mini Fountain Pen, Medium Soft Nib & Sleek Shape Aluminium Short Pocket Travel Pen (Midnight Blue)

Bought this pen as it looked good and had some good reviews. Didn’t have much expectations but was trying. This pen is small pocket pen somewhat similar to Kaweco Al Sport. Dimensions are slightly different. I can use the pen unposted easily whereas Kawecos are a bit difficult. Look wise it’s well polished and solid. It comes with a converter which is a big plus (unlike kawecos). Writing wise the nib is butter smooth. Too smooth for my style of writing (luckily no baby bottom issues which I feared) All in all good pen for the price. It’s way cheaper than Kaweco and hope it lasts like my Kawecos did (years and even decades for some) Kaweco still wins but at a different price point altogether

Der M2 ist ein solider Taschen-Füllfederhalter. Er hat einen Aluminiumkörper und ist am besten mit einem Kaweco AL Sport vergleichbar; er hat ähnliche Gesamtabmessungen wie der dieser Füller, ist aber darüber hinaus so ziemlich ein eigenes Design. Geschlossen ist er etwa so groß wie der Kaweco, aber aufgesteckt ist er etwas länger, was sich gut in der Hand anfühlt. Der M2 verfügt über einen integrierten Clip und einen guten Mini-Dreh-Konverter (etwa 0,5 ml). Der Clip des ist stark und federbelastet. Die leicht federnde Nib des M2 ist SEHR GUT (meiner ist in "Extra Fine"). Einfacher Austausch des Federteils durch Herausdrehen. Es gibt auch Sets mit Ersatzfedern in verschiedenen Stärken für diesen Stift auf Amazon zu kaufen. Sucht nach den 3er Sets für Hongdian Black Forest 1850, 1851, 6013, 517S und 517D Serie, die passen in den M2. Der erste Eindruck ist gut – der Füllfederhalter ist gut ausbalanciert, schreibt gut und hat für einen kleinen Taschenstift ein durchdachtes Design. Meine Meinung: Für den Preis hätte ich nicht erwartet, dass der Füllfederhalter so gut schreibt. Ausgezeichneter China Füllfederhalter in guter Qualität und einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

I've always wanted to try out a mini/EDC pen, and almost bought a Kaweco Sport over the summer. Bought a Pilot VP instead, but I digress. I thought I would try out these Hongdian M2s. I like the utilitarian look and feel...and the way I can spin the lid on (you'll see what I mean when you get one lol). Only a twist or two to cap/uncap. Reasonable size when posted, and writes well. The reason I got them on Amazon was because I just couldn't find a medium nib anywhere else, and the price was comparable to where I would normally get it from. Anyways, in short, great pen, great price, great write, great value!

I write alot for my job, and at home, so I decided to treat myself to a fountain pen. I did alot of research about the Hongdian M2 and heard and read nothing but good things. Decided to buy it, I went for the Forrest / Army green and it's a lovely colour. It feels nice in the hand posted and unposted when writing ass it's nicely weighted and balanced, it's convenient to have in your pocket as it's a nice compact size. I used Diamine ink and the converter was very easy to use, straight forward to fill, no mess. I've used it for writing, to sign things, and to sketch, and it performed well in all applications. I would happily recommend this pen to anyone, especially for the price, you'd pay alot more for less quality. I went for a fine nib and it's smooth and flows well, I would like to try a medium nib if I was to buy another one in a different colour, which I probably will, just because I really like this pen, and it would be nice to have a couple of them with different coloured inks in.
