Great product great brand and really revives my curls on dry or wet hair

I've been using this revitalizing wave spray for several days, and it is doing a good job of turning my usual frizz into more defined curls that are soft and pretty. It gives my hair some additional shine, and it makes the hair feel silky but not greasy or weighed down. It also doesn't make my hair stiff. I have been using about 6-7 pumps, then running my hands through my hair and twirling some curls to help them have more definition. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the scent. I prefer that my products have no scent or a light scent and this one is fairly strong and fruity. It does fade after about 20 minutes, and later in the day, I don't notice it at all. All in all, I like the shine and definition that this is giving my hair. I love that it doesn't make my hair stiff, and I will continue to use it.

Most curl products I've tried end up weighing my hair down, and the ones that do give me the definition I'm looking for often have a weak hold that doesn't make it through the day. This stuff is really good. Been spraying it into my damp hair after the shower and letting it air dry. It smoothes and defines like a cream/leave-in but dries like a gel. A little sticky when wet but I'm very happy with the results.

Unpleasant thickness to spray. And it left an oily texture, and limp strands, rather than the soft curls I hoped to hold.

I’m a loyal John Freida customer- have used their dream curls mousse for years now. Was excited to try this product and was disappointed. It looks… okay, I guess? Super frizzy but that was to be expected. What I didn’t expect was the feeling of my hair, and let me tell you- it’s gross. I couldn’t even run my fingers through it. When I finally gave up and put in a ponytail, my hands were so gross and sticky feeling afterwards. And it smells like a very strong, very overwhelming perfume. Won’t be buying again.

UPDATE: Sad to say I came back to remove a bunch of stars. After using this product for almost a month, I believe it leaves a "build up" on your hair. It went for working amazing to feeling like I had sprayed sugar water in my daughter's her hair!!! Every single inch of my daughter's had became completely "knotty". I had her shower (rewash and condition) again the next day because I honestly didn't believe it could be this product causing the problem. But we tried it again, her hair was a thousand percent "sticky" again. This spray completely stopped working! Not just "not working", but made one of her hair problems a thousand times worse. I wash my hair less often. And I probably used about a quarter of the amount of product on my own hair as I did in hers. But I certainly feel a sticky build-up in my hair too. I am not a professional by any means and I can't explain what just happened. But I can say that I am honestly sad; this product was working out so well. At this point, I'm still going to keep it around and I will only use it on special occasions to avoid a build up. I wouldn't repurchase it again though. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am giving this product 5 stars because I really do think it works really well. So good, that I am certain I will be buying it again. This spray does an excellent job of taming my hair with virtually no effort on my part. I have incredibly thick and wavy hair; and it freezes like crazy. Think "cousin it" from the Adams family like hair. This spray leaves me hair a lot more smooth without looking oily. And much softer as well. This spray also works great on my 12yo hair too. The only thing we don't like about it is that it smells like florally toilet paper. It's overwhelming strong too. But luckily it's strong only for a short while. The horrible smell seems to disappear in about 10 minutes. Because it goes away so fast, we're willing to put up with the obnoxious fumes.

Smells so good. Like clean shampoo smell and keeps curls frizz free. I like the weight of it as it’s not sticky but still holds waves and curls well.
