Because of that—and because there’s always a chance I’ll drop my phone on hard surfaces—I need a case that’s both grippy and proven to offer strong drop protection.I ordered several cases to compare, including options from FNTCASE, JSHRU, Spigen, and OtterBox. The Spigen case was well made and very sleek, with a built-in kickstand, but the smooth sides made me concerned it could slip out of my hand. The JSHRU case was my second choice. Its construction is similar to an OtterBox, though it’s slightly less grippy. That said, it still offers solid protection and is an excellent value for the price, so I would definitely recommend it.The FNTCASE, however, fell short in terms of build quality and did not meet my expectations. Ultimately, if you’re willing to spend around $50 and want the grippiest case with the best drop protection, the OtterBox is the way to go.
