my daughter is 3 and she is haveing fun with this book teice the fun with the flashlight and the lift the flap part she likes pepa pig the cartoons also so that added to the fun already knowing about the story

it has pop ups and flash light. My granddaughter loves it.

The flashlight comes right out (it is not attached to the book), and is fairly small, so gets misplaced often. I knocked off a star because it’s not your typical “shadow book.” The book has regular “lift a flap” pages and the flashlight is simply supposed to shine on the animals under the flap. Nothing special, but still a good enough book for a Peppa fan.

My son wanted dinosaur and truck books. I ordered this one too because he likes Peppa Pig. This was his favorite - asks for it every night. He loves finding the animals under the flaps. He’s 3 1/2 and had no problem pressing the button on the flashlight. It works like a typical led key ring light. We read in dim light before bed, so it’s perfect.

Little flashlight adds extra fun to a super cute book

I was very disappointed when this book arrived. It’s an ok book, but not worth the price. 1- I ordered a “Hard cover” book. Okay, they didn’t lie, but they misled me by not saying that it was a board book. All of the pages are hard. My granddaughter is in kindergarten. We won’t get much use out of this book before she’s bored with it. 2- It is not a book that needs a flash light to see the pictures. I was searching for a flash light book, one that you shine the flash light through the back of the page to see the hidden pictures. This comes with a super cheap flashlight, but you don’t need it unless you read the book in the dark. I thought that I was a careful consumer, but they keep coming up with ways to trick you into paying for something you weren’t looking for.

Kids love the flaps in the book, but the flashlight is the biggest hit. Recommend.

It's a fun book to read with something for my 3 year old to do by shining the flashlight to each page.

Fun book for kids

My two year old grandson loves the Peppa Pig books. In this case however the little flashlight was too difficult for him to press and did not add anything to his enjoyment of the story.

Ordered 2 of these, one flashlight works, the other doesn't. Giving them as gifts, so I can't even remove the flashlight to see if it's just in need of a battery or not. Kind of frustrating since the flashlight is a big part of why we got the book
