A genuinely useful tool to keep wires tidy!
This reel is absolutely brilliant and a highly useful tool to keep wires tidy. While it is advertised for heavy-duty extension leads and camping cables, it is incredibly versatile. I wound 40m of HF antenna wire with this and still had so much space left! The build quality is robust, and it makes reeling in and storing long, awkward lengths of wire an absolute breeze. Whether you are using it for caravan hook-ups, Christmas lights, or amateur radio gear, it does the job perfectly. Highly recommended if you want a reliable, tangle-free storage solution.

Great for storing Xmas lights. Will make putting them back up easier too. No more knots or tangled. Great piece of kit.

Not โheavy dutyโ in my opinion but okay for lighter cables
This is an okay item. I wouldnโt call it โheavy dutyโ Its a bit flimsy, not a sturdy strong frame as we thought it would be but we kept it anyway to put our Christmas lights on.

Not for Type 2 EV Charging cable
It's good for 13/16A 3-core mains cables. It's NOT suitable.for Type 2 EV Charging cables; I use a 7.5m cable- it would take the cable but there's nowhere for the plugs to sit, other than on the cable reel which is less than satisfactory.

Useful for keeping flexes and camper boot tidy
A little bit light and bendy, but it stores the electric cables of my camper van neatly and keeps the boot tidy. I will buy more because it is reasonably priced and useful.
