Very clear view when in the correct magnification for the distance and focused The magnification and focus adjustments are easy to use I mainly use this for target shooting and have no problem seeing the bullet holes Leupold quality at a reasonable price

I wasn’t too optimistic about this purchase because I’m used to the older knock-off brands. I am thoroughly impressed with glass quality even at the highest power and it focuses very nicely. The only good spotting scope I have to compare it to is a Nikon prostaff……and I would pick this any day of the week. Money well spent and am very excited to use this coming season.

I’ve used this a few times now and I’m honestly really impressed. Right out of the box, it feels like a scope that should cost way more—easily in that $2K range in terms of overall experience. The glass is super clear, especially in low light, which is huge for early morning and late evening glassing. You can pick up detail really well without straining your eyes, and it performs way better than I expected at this price point. Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Leupold—solid, durable, and made for real use in the field. Everything feels tight and well put together, and it’s easy to adjust and get dialed in. Overall, Leupold never disappoints. If you want high-end performance without paying premium prices, this is a great choice.

I use this spotting scope primarily to view shot placement in 22 rimfire competition. I see many have purchased more expensive scopes than mine, but this scope gives me pretty much the same optical clarity as those. I also could have gone cheaper however would have given up the quality materials and construction this scope offers. I’m very happy with this scope.

I would have given it a five but there’s no carrying case with it. That’s something that I think should’ve been added to this product.

I have a smaller spotting scope I could not see dots holes and paper at 300 yards barely at 200 yards this one does the job it's there also a very nice long distance scope for spotting animals this one does the job

Normally I’m a Leupold fan, but this model fell short. The glass quality was noticeably below the standard I expect from Leupold, so I ended up returning it. Yes, the price was budget-friendly, but the savings didn’t make up for the drop in performance. Overall, not impressed.

So far love it! The clarity is the absolutely stunning. The pictures really don't do it much justice. All pictures are free hand through my 2 year old Samsung galaxy. Only complaint is the neoprene skin doesn't allow the sun shade to extend and makes adjusting the focus a little harder but it's not a huge deal. Fairly lightweight. Small enough I could pack it pretty easy. I was only able to test it at 2ish miles and 4ish miles but I'm excited to try it at 1 mile and under. It's honestly hard to believe the price point on these scopes for what you're getting. Compared it to my dad's old leupol gold ring 40 power compact spotter and the clarity on the sx2 is far better at low power and about even at max power. 1st picture is 2ish miles just from my phone on max zoom. 2nd is the same field through the scope at 60 power. 3rd Is a cut at 4ish miles through my phone. 4th is through the scope at 60 power. 5th is a flower about 20 yards away at 20 power. I'm confident I could easily spot elk at 4 miles. Maybe not make out the points but could probably distinguish between bull and cow. Same with deer at about 2 miles.
