Bob's teff is high quality. Teff is extremely good for you and tastes amazing with mixed berries.

It has a nice mild slightly nutty flavor and can be used as an ingredient or boiled longer for a hot cereal. I experienced a few grains of sand in it, so rise well. The grain is very tiny.

I like Teff cooked cereal. It is good for glutten free diets and gives you a little variety from just oats.

Good fresh product, make sure you add enough water as this grain absorbs a lot of water during cooking, then let it stand as it will harden even more, the grain requires lots of oil or butter to taste good. Texture is grainy like a sand, it tastes close to semolina cooked in butter. Taste is nutty and earthy. Cook time is bringing to boiling and mostly shimmering on very low fire for 20-30 min under closed lid, steering occasionally. Tastes great with raisins and butter or with coconut oil, kind of like semolina halva.

I purchased the whole grain teff because I wanted another option for a hot cereal for breakfast other than oats. It has a good flavor, but, because it requires rinsing before use, it becomes a bit complicated in preparation. I don't have a sieve small enough to keep the tiny grains from falling through when trying to rinse. I had to line my sieve with a coffee filter or cheese cloth which got messy. It is a healthy ancient grain but not worth the headache of using whole.
