That much for so much fat?
This is 300 grams. At 700 calories per 100 grams, it's 2100 calories. $44 for two days if on a serious diet that is exclusive to this, as I saw it used in animal studies for cancer and epilepsy [edit: I am informed in the comments that diets are not used exclusively for this when treating epilepsy in people]. The 4:1 ratio is 3 times more fat than peanut butter. [A commentor disagrees with the following....] Just based on the protein/carb/fat ratio it would seem a way to simulate this would be to mix mayonnaise with whey protein and take a vitamin+mineral supplement. [I remain doubtful that this product "should" cost the same per calorie as Costco's grass-fed steak (raw weight).]
