My skin actually feels denser and more supported
I’ve been using Avène RetrinAL 0.05 every night for about two months, and I can genuinely feel a difference in my skin. I started using it every other night, but after only a few applications I switched to nightly use because my skin tolerated it perfectly. I’ve had no redness, peeling, burning, or irritation. What impresses me most is the change in how my skin feels. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed that my skin has become thinner and doesn’t have the same firmness and support it used to. With consistent use of this cream, my skin now feels noticeably denser, fuller, and more substantial — almost as if it has more cushion underneath it. It feels less thin and more supported, and that is probably the biggest difference I’ve noticed. I also really like the texture of the cream. It feels smooth and comfortable, and I use it as my nighttime cream. A few times I forgot to apply it before bed, and I actually noticed the difference in how my skin felt the next day. That really confirmed for me how much I like the condition of my skin when I use it consistently. After about two months, I’m extremely happy with it and will definitely continue using it.

Love it!!
I wasn’t able to handle tretinoin so I took a break to let my skin barrier heal. When I was ready again, I tried this and have LOVED IT!!! It’s the perfect step to start with. No redness or irritation. A little goes a long way so the price works! Ita not super drying either!

No irritation so far
I just purchased this product recently and only used once. So far, so good. Im only using once a week and then I’ll start adding days as I go. It didn’t irritate my skin and felt nice going on. Seems to be moisturizing and not drying.

I have tretinoin and frequently have issues with flaking. I can now use the Avene daily with no side effects. Wonderful product. Highly recommend to anyone trying to build tolerance to retinol products with sensitive skin.
