Kiprim Dual Laser Distance Meter 393ft/120m

I recently bought this dual laser distance measurer for some DIY projects around the house, and it has been excellent. The device is very straightforward to use, and the readings are consistently accurate, which makes measuring large rooms or awkward spaces much quicker than using a tape measure.The electronic level is a useful feature, especially when hanging shelves or pictures, and the Pythagorean function comes in handy for measuring distances indirectly without having to stretch across tricky areas. The range is impressive, covering up to 120m, so it’s more than enough for any home project.It feels solid in the hand, and the screen is clear and easy to read, even in brighter light. I also appreciate how compact it is, making it easy to store or carry around when moving between rooms. Overall, it’s a very reliable and practical tool for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals, and I’m very pleased with the purchase.

I was indeed challenged by wife after purchasing this item. It was the usual “what do you need that for”. I wasn’t quick enough with my answer because I hadn’t had the opportunity to use it. As a retired surveyor we often went out from the office in pairs to measure rooms internally or parts of buildings externally. As there were two of use the person who held the starting end of a tape used to call it “the daft end” because no further thought was required jotting down a measurement or winding it in for the next measurement. If you are on your own you can, with one of these laser measurement devices, do both jobs. No-one at the other end of a tape being told where to hold it. This, for me, was the perfect solution for measuring a distance where it might be awkward to hook on the tape before pulling it taught. My greatest danger from now on will be forgetting that I have it and picking up the traditional tape measure.

The device is very compact, it will easily fit onto a pocket, but it also feels solid and robust enough to last. It’s not as easy to use as a normal one laser measure, but the buttons are clearly marked, and the screen is easy to read, even in rooms with low lighting, thanks to the backlight.I was impressed with just how quickly the measurements appeared on screen. Simply point the laser at the wall/ target, press a button, and the result is displayed almost instantly. This makes measuring walls, floors, furniture positions and getting room dimensions far more convenient than using traditional methods.I found the dual laser feature offered a lot more flexibility when measuring different types of spaces, especially if you want to measure from a set position of the wall instead of just finding the total length/width. It significantly simplified tasks that would normally require a lot of repositioning of a tape measure, thus making larger projects much less frustrating.Another timesaving feature is the ability to perform more than basic distance measurements. Whether you're planning a decorating project, calculating room sizes or checking dimensions before ordering furniture, the meter provides useful information without requiring complicated setup, and you can do it all yourself!In terms of battery life, I have no complaints, it has had a fair bit of use recently and it’s still going strong. The device also device powers up quickly and isn’t laggy so it’s ready whenever it's needed.OVERALL OPINIONPriced at £40.57 at the time of ordering, this Kiprim 393ft Dual Laser Distance Meter is a well-priced, feature rich and practical tool that takes all the hassle out of measuring. It's fast, convenient and particularly useful when working alone. It's one of those tools that feels designed to make every day measuring jobs easier, but it can also grow with you, if you want basic measurements, it has you covered, but if you want to get into the detail, it has just about all of the functions you will need.

worked well at first but after a day working with it i noticed issues with which laser would activate when changing between modes. then error 15 constantly. great device in theory but in practice it just doesn’t do what it is meant to. also, the screen adjusting with accelerometer means it can get very confusing and looking back through history is not as simple as some other models i have tried. may have just been a defective unit so have sent back for a refund.

Ok for indoors but does not work outdoors.

ordered this laser distance measurer for some renovation work around the house, and it’s turned out to be a great decision.The dual laser feature is super handy when I need to measure bigger areas or tricky spots on my own. It also saves all my last measurements, which has been a big help when I’m moving between rooms and don’t want to keep writing everything down. At the begging I was a bit confused how to use it properly but the manual is made very easy for customers to understand.

Very good tool

This is a great product. The vertical laser on top is very useful to me. I wish that the laser could stay powered emiting light longer. It shuts down after a few seconds. That is my only issue with it.

This is an awesome tool! Very accurate, no batteries to mess with, and charges quickly. Won't need half a dozen measuring tapes lying around getting lost! Measures one way or two, easy-peasy!
