I absolutely love my Xtratuf boots designed by the Salmon Sisters! These boots are not only durable and practical, but they also feature a stunning design on the inside that makes them truly unique. Love my boots. The quality of x-tra tuffs is uncomparable to any others! They are absolutely the best. Good fit,very comfortable and definitely able to wear them all day.

Updated rating to a 5 after wearing these great books on an Alaskan fishing trip. They were water-tight and cleaned up easily. These are well made and mostly comfortable. They are easy to pull on and look cute. I have an average calf size and these boots are a bit snug, but can be folded down. The same brand that looks the same, but in a different color and more expensive has a larger calf measurement. Expected to have standard sizing for this brand. They do not come in half sizes.

I found this color on sale for $60 and couldn’t pass it up. These boots are heavy-duty, well-made, and very comfortable. Since my feet are wider at the front, I sized up. They’re a bit loose at the heel, but a thicker pair of socks fixes that easily. Overall, I’m very happy with these boots.

My first pair of Xtratufs lasted 11 years. I purchased the gender neutral insulated version size 5men/7women. This pair I purchased the size 7 women's and they fit perfect. I am a normal US women 7, EU 38. I’m re-purchasing because of the long lasting wear in near-daily winter and rain use in both Wisconsin and Colorado with trips to Alaska. This time around I wanted the cute style with the roll over cuff. The entire boot is still thick and has coverage like the original.

These fit true to size and are well made. Unfortunately the soles are heavy and seem to be weighted. While this does make it super easy to put on and take off, they can be tiring when running around town on rainy days. I ended up using them exclusively for yard work. The weight in the sole seems to make them sturdier in muddy or more slippery areas. They have held up well very well and the fabric lining makes them a bit warmer than some other brands. The color was as pictured and I like the pattern when folding down the top.

This is my second pair after wearing the heels down on the first pair that I bought 15 years ago. These boots are fantastic and they are so comfortable. I use them for gardening, yard work and outside in the snow. They are very warm and have great traction in the winter. I can comfortably walk 4 miles in great comfort when I walk my labrador in the snow.

Such great boots! I wear a 7 or 7.5 and have very wide feet. I almost got Size 8 in these but then read other reviews and thought better of it ... and ordered Size 9s despite my dread of how giant and clunky and hideous they would be. The 9s fit PERFECTLY and are in fact the same length and width and chunkiness as my Size 7.5 Sorel winter boots. I think with the octopus lining they are actually a little bit cute! In fact, I walked around the house with these Xtratuf boots on for about an hour before I looked at the box and saw (and remembered) I got 9s instead of 8s — that's how normal-sized they look. I can wear my normal winter socks with these or just light socks and both ways are fine ... More importantly though — so far these are also totally waterproof to let me get to our boat (and stay dry) when the docks are flooded from high water (as they are now all over the Great Lakes). I also find them to be just as "grippy" as my trampoline neoprene rubber-bottomed booties for sail racing — and these Xtratuf boots don't leave marks on our topsides either. I will be interested to see how the grippiness remains as the boots wear. So far so good!
