Love Smallrig's products - they always feel sturdily built and perform to spec. This cable is great to have on hand - as it supports higher end power delivery and data use cases - such as connecting laptops or phones to a USB C monitor, or a high speed external SSD. The coiled cable helps keep things tidy, especially in highly portable set ups, like using external SSD storage with a phone.

I needed to get this for my V mount battery connected to my FX3 and with the angles it has worked so well compared to my other ways they used to just stick out and they will bend and stop working after a bit but since I’ve purchased this, it’s been amazing charging speed is perfect great value for money disability is amazing and the quality of it just feels high End.

I'm a big fan of Smallrig photography products so thought I would give this cable a chance. Quality is good and transmission speeds as far as I can tell match advertised specs. The only caveat I can think of is that being coiled it has a lot of tension and if you are considering to connect anything lightweight at a distance that requires the coils to stretch, don't! I tried with a laptop and a portable monitor, even side by side the two were puled into each other. How I Rate - ***** Don’t think, just buy it! - **** Nothing to complain about, I’d spend my own money on this. - *** Does what it should but there may be better alternatives - ** Problems or issues encountered that outweigh any benefits. - * Run for the door! Whilst I do sometimes include photos and videos in my reviews, due to time constraints this will only be when I feel that doing so would serve a purpose in demonstrating how an aspect of the product works or fails. I only order Items that I or my family have a genuine use for and as such you can be sure that they are tested in real world warts and all situations. Whilst I did receive this item for free through the Amazon Vine program this has in no way influenced my review.

Really like this cable and it suits my built to have one straight and one angled connector. Used with FX30 and VB99 battery

Good quality, keeps everything compact so very satisfied... just one word of caution - make sure the length is sufficient for what need as the more you extend the more pull on the connections there will be.

Das Spiralkabel ist praktisch für die Verwendung an Cages, weil die Länge verändert werden kann, ohne dass viel Kabel einfach unkontrolliert rumhängt. Der abgewinkelte ist auch toll, weil es Platz spart: das Kabel ragt an der Seite, wo es angeschlossen wird nicht so heraus. Die Datenrate ist gut genug für schnelle SSDs und das Power-Eating ist gut um Handys oder Laptops zu laden. Fürs Handy laden ist das Kabel aber nicht optimal, weil die Spannung auf der Wicklung ziemlich groß ist: es würde mein Handy vom Tisch ziehen. Im Vergleich zum nicht-Spiralkabel der nächsten Generation (mehr Daten und Power) ist die neue Version etwas weicher und das hier etwas starrer. (Batterien sind nur zum Größenvergleich auf dem Bild.)

Fil de qualité. Convient bien pour alimenter et transférer les données. Je l’utilise pour relier ma caméra à mon moniteur Atomos sur mon stabilisateur.

J’utilise ce câble pour connecter mon appareil photo et transférer mes fichiers rapidement, mais aussi pour brancher des lampes à des batteries V-mount. La conception spiralée est très pratique, elle évite que le câble traîne partout tout en offrant une bonne flexibilité. La qualité de fabrication est solide et les connecteurs semblent résistants même après plusieurs utilisations. Le câble est assez long une fois étiré, ce qui est pratique pour différents setups. Le seul petit point faible est qu’il reste un peu rigide au début, mais cela s’améliore après quelques utilisations. C’est un très bon câble pour tous ceux qui cherchent un accessoire fiable et pratique pour leurs appareils USB-C et leur matériel d’éclairage.
