I don’t usually leave reviews, but this alarm clock quickly became one of my favorite purchases. It’s incredibly simple to set up, and the interface is clear and straightforward—so there’s no confusion when you’re half asleep trying to adjust settings. One of the best features is the ability to play tracks directly from an SD card, which has been a game-changer for me. I also love that it doesn’t require WiFi, so there’s no need to worry about extra connectivity near the bed. The overall build quality feels solid, and the dimmable display is perfect for nighttime. With additional perks like the USB charging ports and Bluetooth functionality, it truly packs a lot of value at such a reasonable price. If you’re looking for a reliable alarm clock with versatile audio options and a hassle-free setup, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

After multiple late days at work thanks to my unreliable phone alarm, I decided that I needed to purchase an alarm clock. I researched multiple different options and settled on this one. I'm so glad I did! It's simple enough to figure out and I love the way it looks. It's reasonably stylish and it's pretty small, which is great for my nightstand. You can dim or turn off the display light, the Bluetooth speaker works pretty well, and the alarm is reliable. It's a pretty soothing sound but it gets me up every time! I am so grateful for my amazing new alarm clock!

I like the simplicity of this clock and the Bluetooth feature is really nice. My only problem is the dimmer. I am accustomed with sleeping in the dark and the setting is either bright or dim enough that you can't see the time.

I bought this alarm clock to replace an old, expensive Brookstone one with a radio. Things I hated about the old one - even the dim lighting illuminated my whole room (so I had to keep it covered at night), the volume dial was touchy (classic problem with alarm clocks I think) and the standard alarm was an awful, blaring sound - exactly the sound you don't want to wake up to if you want to have a good day. The Homtime was half the price, has great dimming, is much smaller, has the bonus of charging ports, and has a pleasant, almost soothing alarm that wakes you gently. The Bluetooth works easily with my iPhone if I want to stream music, and the port for a memory card looks easy enough if I wanted to use it. The dial also makes it really fast to set. I recommend this product.

Item I received appears to come from pre-release development stock as it has problems that are identified as having been fixed prior to general release. Problems: alarm goes off when it has not been set; when using USB to charge a phone, when 100% is reached, clock beeps continuously until phone is removed; temperature reading is at least 20 degrees above room temp. I emailed Homtime for information and they never replied. I really wanted to like this clock but cannot recommend purchase at this time.

Long before I was the glimmer in my wife’s eyes, and for about 15 years into our relationship, my wife had this horrible alarm clock. It had so many buttons, switches, and knobs, that it resembled the cockpit of a Bowing 777. The instruction book was 3 inches thick! It was so complicated that I could spend the better part of my day just trying to program it. And for the alarm…I never learned how to stop it. The alarm was supposed to be a radio station, but all it ever produced was an obnoxiously loud static sound. Every morning I woke up in a panic thinking the house was crashing down. I hated it when she got out of bed before me and forget to turn the alarm off because I would literally wrestle with the damn thing for 5 minutes trying to silence it. Way too many switches, buttons, and knobs! Most of the time I just unplugged it from the wall, which always created a programming nightmare later on. That's no way to wake up every morning and no way to live. One day when she was out of town, I threw the alarm clock in the trash and bought myself (I mean her) this new and easy to use alarm clock. At first, she was pissed because it was her alarm clock...a symbol of her youth, freedom, independence, and wonderful singleness, but now she is happy that I did it. It’s easy to use and provides us a more pleasant wake up experience. JUST SAY NO TO OVERLY COMPLICATED ALARM CLOCKS!

We have been using two of these Hometime alarm clocks for several years. Overall, it is functional as a clock, alarm, and Bluetooth speaker. The device is easy to setup and pair with an iPhone. Adjustments (12/24 hr time, C/F temp, and brightness) are very easy and straightforward. Music streaming via Bluetooth is poor quality but about what I expected for such a cheap alarm clock speaker. The real negatives are (1) slow USB device charging speed and (2) built-in thermometer accuracy. It is possible that the alarm clock has been updated since we purchased them several years ago. However, the USB charging speed via the two devices we own are quite slow. Adequate for an older iPhone or Apple Watch...but not fast enough to readily charge a recent generation iPhone or iPad. The second issue is the temperature reading for the built-in thermometer. It is simply not at all accurate. We have 2 Hometime units very close to each other (1 on either side of a bed) and they often display vastly different temperatures for no apparent reason (sometimes 5-10 degree F different). Overall, the Hometime device is just average. Understandably, it designed for limited tasks (clock, alarm, Bluetooth speaker, thermometer, and USB charging), but it fails at 2 of the 5. For the price, I expect more -- or at least all of the claimed features to work.

Best alarm clock I've seen. The dimmer is great... 4 settings including off. Easily change the time or set the alarm with the rotary dial in top. Don't try to switch from minutes to hours etc. Just dial up or down to the time you want. Charging up the phone while I'm writing the review. While listening to music with the Bluetooth. Great price for such a hardworking clock that doesn't hog up precious room on my bedside table. Tossing my old clock and bringing in a floral arrangement now that I have room. UPDATE when I plug my phone in to charge, it zeros out the clock and I have to reprogram it. This has happened so often the temperature setting is stuck on Celsius because the interior button (needs a paperclip to change) has broken. I ordered two and the other one is still in the box. I was saving it to put into a newly remodeled guest room and have to hope it doesn't do the same thing for them. This is no longer a 5 star item.

What a great little clock. I can play my music through it and charge my phone at the same time.The time display turns off keeping the bedroom dark or I can set it to one of three different light levels. Would definitely recommend.

The digital display can be really bright, that's what I want. The 2 USB chargers can charge up my device quite fast.

Small and smart, easy to set up. Once set up its press one button to reset alarm each day.

I love this gadget!! Display really clear and can be turned down to suit. Sound quality good.
