Advantek 20050B Catch and Release Live Animal Trap, 2-Piece Value Pack, Raccoon and Rabbit Traps

Plenty of pesky groundhogs and raccoons have been “relocated”. They can be hard on traps but this has held up really well

We are both senior citizens and were looking for a live trap that was easy to use. What I particularly like about this one is that the snap shut door is solid. Having a live animal in the trap means that the ones with grated screening on the release door means the animal can get its paws ( and nails) thru the holes. I wish they would make one with a lift device that would keep you further away from the trapped animal ( who is NOT happy). This is strong, well made, and works the best so far. Living in the country critters cause a lot of problems. I just want to relocate them, not hurt them or cause them, or me, any harm.

Arrived on Monday , caught a squirrel Wednesday and Thursday. Next week the same results plus one on Saturday for a total of 5 squirrels in two weeks with the small trap. Not a bad haul for the length of time. December I caught a cat in the large trap, Sunday the first day of the month. Also in December I caught two more squirrels so far, the 6th and the 8th of December. The bait for the squirrels was peanut butter and peanuts on a lid. The bait for the cat was sardines. All were released at a large local park unharmed. I like the back escape door on the traps it makes it easy to release. I would recommend these traps for small and large nuisance animals. I know there are some people out there that would enjoy a meal of squirrel but not for me, for those I say Bon Appetite.

They caught the rockchucks in my basement. However they are a little tricky to set up. And even though the quality is decent the very large rockchuck did bend the large cage a little bit. However I would recommend them as the value pack definitely saved me money

It wasn't clear from the listing, but one of the traps was small, for rats, squirrels, rabbits and the like. The other can handle raccoons, cats, skunks, etc. The trigger mechanisms are the same on both traps and are robust. The powder coating is great and there is very little rust at the seams after a year of use. I expect to get several years of use out of these traps.

First trapped racoon worked well. Second trapped racoon not so good, racoon was able to pull and bend the trip plate. Needed an additional trap, figured I try out this brand. I've trapped raccoons for years. Never seen this kinda of damage to my trap.

I got these to deal with some raccoons under my house. The traps are easy to use, and move around, and seem to be solidly built so far. As of this writing they've trapped eight raccoons, and two of my neighbor's cats. If you're on a budget these are the traps for you.

I set this out to catch an armadillo that was tearing up my yard. After two nights he was safely captured. It is easy to use and set up. I would rate it higher, but it is a little flimsy. The armadillo managed to bend the roof pretty badly and now there is small gap on the top between the back wall and the roof of the trap.,

These traps exceeded our expectations... critters caught with in the first half an hour of setting the bait
