**Q: is there alcohol in this soy sauce as a preservative?**
A: the ingredients are water, organic soybeans, salt and organic vinegar. no alcohol is mentioned.  i am pretty sure they don't use preservatives in anything organic and soy sauce in general is fermented and can be used as a preservative by itself,  so no outside preservatives are necessary.

**Q: Can somebody list the ingredients? I need something that is both wheat- and alcohol-free.Thanks**
A: I'm looking at my bottle and tamari is definitely wheat free.  Ingredients are water, organic whole soybeans, salt and organic vinegar.  Doesn't say anything about alcohol so can't answer that question.

**Q: what is the sodium content of this product**
A: The 453/2 tsp is for the "less sodium" version

I'd stick with the real thing if you possibly can.  This has a little bit of a bitter taste after you use it.Real soy sauce is much better, but if you have to go gluten free and love sushi this is a good second option.

I tried the soysauce and thought it did not taste like regular soysuce at all. It did not have much taste to it at all I thought. I will not order again.

I was delighted to find out about this gluten free soy sauce. And, after not being able to find it where I live, I was delighted to find I could buy it through amazon.com. I enjoy the flavor of soy sauce and have missed eating it for the last few years due to gluten intolerance. I'm happy to be able to cook with it again! I haven't resorted to carrying it to restaurants with me, but I'm thinking about it.
