This pillowcase is a magical fix for the very comfortable Coop Eden pillow’s one flaw: Heat buildup. The Eden advertises as being cool due to the infusion of cooling gel, but in reality that seems like a bit of a gimmick, or at least it’s not enough to offset the warming effect of memory foam. But replacing Eden’s stock pillowcase with this one provides a substantial improvement, making even the warmest of nights bearable. And while it won’t keep the spot you’re lying on cool forever, you need only move slightly to find another cool spot. I seem to only need to do this a few times before I just fall asleep. It would be ideal if the Eden came bundled with this pillowcase, but at least I have the stock one as a backup for when the cooling pillowcase is in the wash.

Wow, how does it do that? It actually feels cold. It’s super fitted. It doesn’t really look like a pillow case, but more like the cover that zips on the pillow before the actual pillow case. Pretty cool concept, however it works!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I purchased this to replace an old regular thin cotton cloth travel pillow cover. I use the travel pillow as my regular nightly pillow. I'm a side and back sleeper and switch positions frequently during the night. I find that the small travel pillow is much easier to manipulate and position and as such it does a better job of supporting my head than a standard pillow does. This pillow cover is very well built, well cushioned and closes around the travel pillow with a zipper. This is much better than the old plain cloth open ended pillow cover I had been using. I didn't have much hope that the "cool side" feature would actually work and thought it was more of a marketing gimmick. To my surprise, I found out that this actually does work and the "cool side" of the pillow cover is significantly cooler than the "plush side". I did not think that there was a fabric that would actually accomplish this, but there is.

Great pillowcase I'm just used to having an actual pillow case on it so I have to put a pillowcase on it because it feels weird for me but that's just me the durability the zipper closures good the ease of use is great the size is really big just like the pillow no smell really comfortable and very durable just wish it had a case that came with it that like an actual Cotton one I just like to feel I guess

The Eden cooling Crescent Pillow has 2 different cases available, but this is the better choice. It's quilty,and let's you pick whether you use it on the side to feel extra cooling,or the regular side which is temperature neutral, but it's comfy either way. It also washes well, but you should use a delicates bag,and air dry it to keep it nice....
