PGX is a terrific product. I started taking PGX fiber after doing the 10-Day Detox Diet that Dr. Mark Hymen recommended in 2014 and have been taking it ever since. I really notice when I forget to take them before a meal. My blood sugar spikes more, I am hungrier and seem to feel sluggish. I like the capsules as I struggle with the taking the powder.

This bottle is huge!!! What you think you’re getting triple that in your mind! This is the only fiber that has curbed my appetite and removed any bloating within a week tops!!!

Makes me bloat. I should have purchased a smaller cap count size than the 240 count size, because I could not even handle one a day. By the fourth day, I had to just stop. Not pain or cramping. Just bloat. I looked better because the water retention helped to fill out my skin. I will grant them that. And I did not feel hungry. I wonder if there is a "light" dose per capsule. It is a gel cap, so there is not a way to only take half of the capsule instead of a full capsule. I could have tried to stick it out for a few weeks, but I decided to give it a wait and see how long it takes to return back to normal. I does decrease one's hunger. It is just "too strong" a dose for me, even at one cap a day. I may try one capsule every other day and see if that can't give me the best of both worlds, because I did look "healthier" with it to me since at age 57, our skin is dry and we loose that youthful "fullness" from the underlying brown fat of youth. Over 50, that brown fat disappears, leaving us looking older, our skin less elastic. I will have to give it some thought. If I do, I will repost. So, I recommend you just get the smallest total capsule count you can to test try it for yourself. Like I said, there was no cramping for me. Just water bloat, but maybe that would have evened out after a few weeks. I did not want to wait it out. Maybe I will try it every other day. Just need to think on it.

I tried this product after reading about it on Natural News. Got it at first from a local health food's store but found it here at Amazon for half the price. My problem has always been mad snacking desires. This has evened those desires out and I have been dieting and exercising and have lost 16 pounds in a month. I eat a "south beach" (I say south beach but really I don't follow that diet just close to it) diet and eat far less than I usually would. I eat when I'm hungry but I eat sensibly. I don't have the shakes over my "need" for junk food and haven't been once tempted by french fries even when sitting in front of friends who are eating them. I'd had starch and sugar detoxes before that I suffered through. (as did everyone else in my house...haha) This made it far easier. I really love this supplement. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a leveling of their "blood sugar". I say that in quotations because I still haven't tested my blood to know. But I can tell you as a person who has a BAD snack food habit and usually hates to do without them that this product has really given my already strong will a very huge boost. Now, I admit I also exercise at least 5 times a week. 20 minutes a day. But, I was doing that before I got PGX daily and trying so hard to diet and failing miserably. I'd lose a pound or two then have a crash and give up and eat junk food and back and forth and back and forth. This stuff has been a miracle for me. Just a touch over 40 pounds gone now and still moving. I LOVE IT!

I used this product in powder form several years ago when I was in a medical study for Dr. Mark Hyman's new book. In spite of the fact it worked great, I'm a gagger and I chose not to reorder. Thankfully, this is sold in pill form and now I'm more accepting of this form. No pre-dose gagging or nausea. The size is much larger than expected and based on the fact it actually works, the value for the money is acceptable.

Several in a bottle and this product did not work for me.

I have been using for 3 weeks and I am starting to feel the effects of fullness and my cravings have significantly decreased. I’ve lost 3 lbs so far.

I began taking this product 4 days ago. Three pills a day, and drinking a gallon of water daily. They didn’t do anything except cause more bloating and zero bowel movements. I had no intestinal pain, or issues, but my entire abdominal and stomach felt and looked like I had been inflated. For me, they were very easy to swallow. I didn't notice any changes to stay full longer, and actually ate less because I wanted relief from the bloating. I stopped taking them and switched back to my previous brand and everything has gone back to normal. I cannot recommend this product.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT HAVE USED THEM FOR 7 YEARS AND FIND THAT ITS A PROVEN HEALTH AID THAT I WILL NOT GIVE UP GJM

These do work to fill you up, but I do it a bit differently than the suggestion by the producer/manufacturer. When I get the munchies, I take two of these with 24 oz. of water. Really kills the old appetite when you need it to. Drinking LOTS of water with these is very important or you can become very constipated. Beats trying to fill up on celery. Haven't lost much weight, but wasn't expecting to, as yet.

Did not make me or my partner feel full. Even increased the dose. Caused constipation for both of us.
