Nice black sand for my incense burner. I wonder what beach this black sand came from ? Or was the sand painted black by someone with. Tint paint brush ? The sand was a great value. I have my toddler the plastic bag to play with and it had a calming effect on her. I thought it was a great value for my money because there are not many beaches with black sand so it must be very rare and hard to find. There was more sand in the bag than I needed so it was a great size. The sand has. Neutral, sandy scent. It is very effective for holding my stick of incense fully erect. The sand is breathtakingly beautiful. I have never seen such beautiful sand in my entire life and I am almost 93-years-old. I took a pic of the sand and it is totally zen.

I have ordered this sand multiple times for various applications. It's attractive and functional. I use it to hold incense and the like. I've also used the white version in flower vases. It's odorless and gets the job done.

The sand itself is very fine, and high quality… but that bag is TINY! For perspective, the bag is only slightly bigger than a phone. Granted, when I went back and looked, it did say it was only a pound of sand. But that price might be a little wild for so small an amount. Fortunately, I think it will be just enough for my zen garden.

When i first wanted to start burning incense it was so smoky in the house, I got scared. So I googled how to combat that, and they said adding sand to your burner then add you hot coal it stabilizes the heat. And when I got this I have now ran out of charcoal cause I been burning incense, powder version and resin. FRANKENCENSE, MHYRR, AND COPAL have been Devine also with red blood resin. So this calmed my nerves from preventing an overall smoky home. I do open the windows as well. You just pur a bit so its easy to use.
