SKIL 15Amp 8-1/4" Table Saw-TS6308-00

Soporta hoja de 8.5 pulgadas; la valla es de buen material y se puede perforar para usar feather boards. El material es bueno y ya venía calibrada a 0 grados. La barra de inglete es de no muy buena calidad (de esperarse en sierras de mesa) por lo que recomiendo comprar una de aluminio para cortes cruzados. Mi única queja es que es ruidosa como el mismísimo diablo (usar orejeras es obligatorio), no se puede quitar la guardia de la cuchilla trasera para cortes especiales, hay que comprar una por separado. Todavía no encuentro insertos de espacio cero para este modelo por lo que recomiendo usar cinta de espacio cero. La valla usa engranes para mayor precisión y se mantiene paralela a la hoja, pero no es bueno el ajuste si no está en modo libre; mejor liberar la valla con el seguro frontal, ajustar, y volver a cerrar el seguro. Muy buena calidad y precio accesible. Definitivamente recomendada.

Easy to setup. Works great. It is not a heavy duty table saw by any means. Most of it is plastic with a few aluminum parts. Good for my uses as I needed something for small projects , Cuts nice with the blade it comes with. Can get kit for DADO cuts. Can adjust if blade gets off vertical . For a couple hundred bucks its well worth it but if your going to be using it everyday or build it into a table with fences I would get something a little more solid. For hauling around or doing small jobs this is perfect. for me

Good saw with the rack and pinion fence being the best feature. Cons: the blade guard is a bit of a chore to install and remove simply because the securing lever is awkward to use and a real knuckle skinner. Second, the blade guard should have a flip up feature like other table saws have to allow usage when the guard gets in the way of the cut. Also, there should be a separate guide blade to install to prevent binding and kickback when the entire guard assembly is not wanted or needed. I’m frankly amazed these rather obvious cons have not been addressed by a very experienced company. Yes, I get the emphasis on safety but not all of us using table saws are morons.

Skil TS6308-00 con dudas al hacer la compra.... Pero al recibir esta herramienta, estoy un tanto impresionado... La calidad es buena la mesa esta plana excepto una mínima cosa en las ezquinas... He visto algunas de mayor precio y son muy malas. El motor se escucha potente y mu estable... El tiempo de uso dirá que tan bueno es está SKIL me agrada..... El uso que voy a dar es ocasional... No soy carpintero de profesión...... Si la recomendaría para trabajos pequeños,.. como hacer detalles, es muy portátil para transporte....... Solo espero resista el trabajo.... El vendedor hace bien el trabajo de envío... Gracias... Alguien preguntó por la Gia.... Claro tiene guía de corte y también accesorios como palanca de empuje para la madera y más... Esta completa

I have a DeWalt table saw that I purchased about 10 years ago that I absolutely love. It has a rack and pinion fence, built in fence ruler, lots of on board storage and just works great. I love using this saw. The only issue with it is that it wasn't cheap so when I needed another saw for our cottage out of state I was reluctant to spring for a second one. I started looking at all the low end saws and found this Skil saw. It was a little more (about $70) than the bare bones table saws but it to had all the features of my DeWalt that makes it such a pleasure to use. The rack and pinion fence alone makes it worth the additional money. No need to pull out your tape measure to measure the distance from the blade to the fence for each cut and to verify that the fence is perfectly parallel to the blade. Simply turn the knob to the desired cut distance using the built in ruler. lock the handle down and you are ready to go. The rack and pinion fence guarantees you'll get a square cut each and every time you change it. In addition to this all the various components of the saw store on board in their respective slots. The saw is equipped with a powerful 15 amp motor so stalling the blade is never a concern and the dust collection/port works great with a vacuum cleaner. Skil took the time to bake in all the positives of the DeWalt saws only they managed to keep the price low. Overall I'd rate this as the best value for your money saw on the market today.
