Extremely short shelf life < 30 days, 90 days, etc.
Wow, tastes great and is much cheaper than Starbucks green tea a few times a day. I've been a fan of this matcha cold brewed green tea, and have ordered 2 - 4 cases per month for the past six months, along with 3 - 5 cases of other green tea. I like that these are shipped in their boxes for storing on top of each other. Always use subscribe and save, have received up to 10 cases per month for the past five years of this brand and anotherโs green tea, and keep a case in my car for commuting. This past beginning Dec 22 order, both cases were date stamped expiring in less than 30 days. I had not reviewed the previous cases, but as a sure that we're short self-life as well. I'm not sure what the manufacturing date was, and how long it says in different warehouses or cargo ships. Today, two more cases arrived with an expiration date of June 1, 2023. Not a big deal since I drink both cases or more each month. It would be ideal to get a 6 - 12 month shelf life on these orders.

Delicious
I like tea and have tried all of the ito en bottled varieties. I held off on this one for a long time because I thought cold-brew matcha would be a gimmick like cold-brew coffee (sorry not sorry) and that the filtered matcha wouldn't be meaningfully different from sencha. "Umami sweetness" from tea? Give me a break, that hardly even makes sense. Boy was I wrong, this tea is delicious: smooth, refreshing, subtle sweetness, and yes, even a hint of umami. The tea retains somewhat of a green hue which is very impressive for a bottled product, suggesting it's been effectively protected from oxidation. This is by far my favorite of their bottled offerings.

Good tea
Green. Stimulating. Yum You can make your own matcha and bottle it but on the go this is a good option

Pricey but worth the cost.
Expensive but worth the money. One of my favorite teas now. Only downside is it is often unavailable.

Excellent Product
Two members of this family drink green tea just about every day. This was a new-found product for us (thank you Amazon) and we could not be happier with the result of this purchase. Exactly what we wanted and very nicely packaged - bottle, rather than be exactly round which can sometimes be a bit slippery to hold, is a hexagon shape and, surprisingly, fits better in the hand than a smooth circle. Sounds like a minor thing? Well, sometimes, it is the minor things that turn out to be important And, in this case this is true.

WARNING: Yellow bottles are "Product of Thailand"
I wasn't sure which one to buy since I love matcha tea. I actually get the Ito En matcha green tea bags shipped from Japan (if they don't sell them on Amazon) and what a difference in color and taste! I am in search of the most neon green green tea around. I no longer have a taste for the regular Kirkland Ito En tea bags that you buy at Costco and Amazon (with the exception of the organic)! I have tasted both matcha oi ocha teas (both are "Product of Japan"). They are identical in color...yellow (no hint of green). The flavor is okay but not like the hot tea I prepare. All in all it's so convenient to just take my green tea bottle with me but I just don't taste that crisp green grassy flavor that I was expecting. ***I had a subscribe save set up for the Cold Brew Matcha (blue bottle from Japan) and they sent me the yellow bottle from Thailand which tastes like backwash.

My favorite ITO EN tea...and now unavailable. What the...?!
I love this tea. My favorite from Ito En...and now I can't buy it. Why? What happened? Drinking it daily until I had the rug pulled out. Hey, let's make the best tea we make unavailable. DERP!

If you like having a nice cold tea on a hot day this is a great choice. You just pop it in the fridge and whenever you're looking for a cool beverage its there for you. It's not sweet so you won't feel guilty and all the while the tea doesn't taste bitter. Its a great water substitute that makes you feel like you made a healthy choice! :)
