Best tool you didnโt know you needed.
I actually just learned that this type of tool existed. All the year of hit fingers and bent pins can be avoided with these. Seem to be built well out of quality steel.

As advertised, pin starter set
These are roll pin starter punches with recessed ends and they functioned well for that purpose. They are not the finishing punches with the extended nubs that are handy to finish the pin installation. I bought a set of Lyman punches of the 2nd type. You might do better and shop around for a combination set of both types.

I bought this product to punch brembo brake caliper pins out. The metal was extremely weak on the smallest punch pin and splintered. I was able to complete the job with the second largest punch pin. Due to weak metal 1 star but keep in mind I did not use the item for it's intended purpose so 2 stars instead.

I was expecting more from this set of punches - a couple of semi hard taps and they were finished. Canโt recommend for anything other than very light work

Metal is too soft, second punch on the pins and the metal just went off (see picture)
