This was a great value for the price of the doorbell. Bought because it can be wired to existing wire, I did change the transformer to make sure it was the correct amount of power. The camera itself and the app were easy to set up, and install, I liked it came with a wedge to tilt the camera to get more view of the doorway. Added the 128Gb sd card to capture video and added the Eufy Door chime unit as well. For no cloud service it works well capturing every delivery and every cat that strolls by, very happy with purchase adding one to our other home too.

I recently installed eufy doorbell security camera. From unboxing to setup, everything was smooth and user-friendly. The video quality is outstanding.One of my favorite features is the two-way audio, which allows me to communicate with visitors (or deter unwanted ones) from anywhere via my smartphone. The live feed and recordings are easily accessible through the app, which is intuitive and reliable. One of the biggest advantages is that there’s no monthly subscription required. All recordings are stored locally and are fully accessible through the Eufy app, which is super easy to use. I can review motion-triggered events anytime, anywhere, without worrying about hidden fees or cloud storage costs. It did not come with Micro sdxc Card. I purchased 128GB(the max that you can install).

I'm writing this review from the perspective of someone who, as an engineer, has far more tech knowledge than the average person. This product is half baked. Things went ok to start. I unpacked everything (there's some stuff like wires, mounting screws, etc a bit hidden), downloaded the app and inserted a microSD card. I started going through the Add Device on the app. The scan of the QR code on the device did not work well and it took far longer than it should to get it to scan (with my Pixel 9). I had to switch to my 2.4 network and then had more difficulty scanning the QR code the phone generates and the Eufy scans (It needs to be much closer than the stated 8 inches). Once past that, things were going well. Where I wanted to mount it had great WiFi and I mounted it (meawhile, I kept get 'human detected' notifications on my phone). During this setup I could see the live view and it looked great. That completed the install. And then it disconnected. No idea why. I had to Google how to unhook the device from its housing (very frustrating). I brought it back inside. Nothing. I tried to reinstall the device but the QR scan would not access the camera. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and tried again. It got stuck on the connecting to WiFi section. I Googled how to factory reset it. Started everything from scratch again and same problem. Back in the box and back to Amazon. Congratulations Eufy, I will never buy one of your products again.

Overall this seems like a good doorbell camera and system to invest in if you don’t want another monthly subscription to deal with. Instructions are somewhat vague and not entirely correct. The storage device is not an SD card but a micro SD card. This important information is lacking in a few areas. Initial setup failed 3 times. After moving the unit next to a router things went well. Installation was fairly straightforward, I wired directly to the existing doorbell wiring. The app is easy to navigate and tailor to your preference. Adding another user is somewhat clunky - you can send an invite but they apparently need to setup their own “home” and then add the shared device. Picture quality is decent, even in low light situations. Field of view is also decent at 4’ above doorway, though I might add a small wedge to angle the unit down. I’ve not yet had any false positive alerts, which is nice.

I love this camera! I had ADT but was unhappy with it. I’ve been very satisfied with the functionality, pictures quality and compatibility with my phone. I love the option to set up multiple users who can come in and out of my home. The battery life has been great also! I now have one on both of my doors! Attached is a late night view of my front door (it impressed me over ADT). You can see the lights at my neighbors home across the street. You can zoom in and out also.

Installation and setup with my existing Homebase 3 was quick and easy. Video quality is very good and the doorbell function works perfectly. Really appreciate the ability to store video on the Homebase and not having to pay for a subscription to review my own video footage.

After numerous resets and SD card formatting I finally have the camera working correctly. The setup for whatever reason was a nightmare and made me really discontent with the product. Now that it's working I'm very happy with it but time will tell how it holds up. NOTABLE MENTION, my house is west facing and I got overheating notifications during a couple 80+ degree days that were out of normal for March/April. I'm suspicious that this is going to be a bigger issue come summer, located in the Northeast.

I really love this doorbell camera. I replaced my broken RING bell and it was totally easy to set up. The fact that it's not hooked into a network of cameras and just operates locally on your home wifi makes me feel good. The quality of the camera is excellent and it integrated with my physical bell without issue. Highly recommended.
