These came very well packaged, in a good container that seals back up well. The lid screws on and off easily. The almonds themselves are tasty and crispy and seem of good quality. They are expensive compared to others you can get elsewhere, but this may be one of those times where you get the quality you pay for. Definitely more of a "treat" item than an everyday item from my point of view.

I'm a daily almond eater - usually the supermarket kind, tossed into porridge with fruit, seeds, and a few other nuts. But these Irani Mamra almonds from JJ Crunch N Munch are something else entirely. The first thing I noticed was the texture: they have this amazing crunchy skin, almost like they've been lightly roasted - even though they're raw and 100% natural. That crisp snap really caught me off guard in the best way. And the flavour? Way beyond the plain almonds I'm used to. They're subtly sweet, with a honey-like note and even a hint of marzipan if you're paying attention. They're full of flavour without needing any salt or roasting - yes, they're completely unsalted, and I didn't miss it at all. I usually find almonds a bit dry on their own and prefer them mixed into something. But these are different - properly snackable all by themselves. No porridge required (though I imagine they'd be amazing in it too). For what it's worth, my jar had a best-before date nine months from the packaging date. Mine was packed on May 25 and arrived in September, so I've got about five months to finish them. Realistically though? They'll be gone in a week. So if you're planning to stock up, just keep in mind there's a freshness window - but honestly, I doubt they'll last that long once you open them. They're that good. Bonus points for nice, simple packaging and a good portion size for testing them out or gifting. If you've only ever had standard almonds, these will genuinely surprise you. A standout upgrade.
