This is my second Newair ice maker. This one makes more ice and is quick making nugget ice. I like the front opening to get the ice and the front bin to add water.

This was pretty good, while it worked. It was obnoxiously loud but it made ice. It started squealing ridiculously loud and then just stopped working. Happened a bit before the 1 year mark. Save your money, buy something else.

I shopped around for a good nugget ice maker for a bit and all of them had their own problems. Most of them are insanely priced appliances too. GE wants $500 for theirs, that's 50% of what I paid for my fridge. I never bought a newair product but it was easy to clean when I first got it and I plugged it in and it started making ice. Easy. It makes a bit of noise as any ice maker would but it's relatively quiet. Makes tons and tons of ice, I think a family of five like mine could go through some ice but it keeps up quickly. Very impressed.

This ice maker is absolutely perfect! It makes ice fast! It’s the little ice you can eat!!

Perfect size for under kitchen cabinets. Love that the door opens in front instead of on top. Very convenient. Much quieter and produces ice quicker than expected. Prior New Air lasted 5+ years. It made bullet ice and was slower and louder. Very happy with the purchase and New Air’s ice makers.

I purchased this in March and have used it several days per week for a few hours each time. While I was initially pleased with this ice maker for the months of April & May, by the end of June, it became glaringly obvious that this ice maker is simply junk. In June, it began to emit an unbearable level and amount of noise with every use. It is intolerable. The noise escalates and can be heard outside. I would have to turn off this ice maker, but the noise doesn’t stop until the unit is actually unplugged from the outlet. I will never buy another icemaker from this mfgr again, this ice maker is simply an expensive piece of junk.

So far so good. Thought I would dislike how small the ice cubes are but I was wrong. Easy to clean.

This is our second countertop icemaker and so far it is working out for us much better than our first one. It is quieter so we can leave it on the counter in the kitchen. Even though the water and ice bins are smaller it does make ice much faster and we have not had any problems. The ice nuggets are a little smaller and seem to be a little softer if you like your crunch ice. very happy so far.
