633 DC is awesome!! let me tell you all about it
I got the 633DC, this is a great fan,. It's a little bigger than I expected to be but that's a good thing,. it's pretty much silent at the low speeds and it does get a little bit noisy at the highest speed what is really not that bad. I made a video to actually show you guys exactly how quiet and how loud it gets,. even on the highest setting I really don't have to have my TV turned up too much louder than normal to be able to listen to my TV,. the motor is pretty much silent on this thing so you're really just hearing the blades pushing and cutting through the air as they spin so it's a little quieter than most fans,. any fan where the blades are spinning at a high speed will get a little bit noisy though I mean that's just going to happen so I don't know why some people are complaining.if you position this in your room correctly it'll move air around your room like you wouldn't believe and it'll circulate your air around the entire room as advertised. if you don't position it in your room correctlt it's not going to work as good as it could so positioning is very very important, Get it right and you'll be amazed at how much cooler your room feels with this around half power maybe 60% power, at those speeds it pushes the air around a great and it's not even that noisy, around 50 or 60% it just feels like some nice background noise which will block out a lot of The unwanted noise from things happening outside or other people in your house,. I can still have my TV at a pretty low listening volume until I get around 70% or higher on this van and at that point I might need to turn the TV up just a little bit but not too much.but I would say this is about 15 or 20% bigger than the other medium air circulators I've had in the past,. I had a older vornado and unfortunately it took a pretty bad full one day and something happened to the motor when it hit the ground and we had to get rid of it,. it was great until that happened, after that I I bought this lasko air circulator fan that look just like a vornado design because it was dirt cheap on sale and I figure it must be just as good ,. It's always vibrated and rattled and the motor shaft it's still had a lot of play in it which was I think the reason that rattled and made so much noise and vibrated all the time it was a very noisy fan even on the lowest setting because of those things but I used it for a good six maybe seven years, it cooled the room okay but nowhere near as good as this thing or the old vornado. I noticed it was really getting worse on the rattling and shaking and vibrating so I said you know it's time to get something else so I got this and so far I am extremely happybottom line though this fan is a beast and it's so nice to have this variable speed control or you can set the set the power exactly where you want it you don't have high medium and low you have you know 5% or 10% or 12% or 20% or 90% power or wherever you want to set it exactly to where you would like it.As long as this thing ends up being reliable in last many years I know it's a little bit of expensive but man it's totally going to be worth it,. Is this thing last 10 plus years I think I'll be pretty happy with that, it's amazing that these things have a 10 year warranty,.my understanding is the DC motor that this band has is a really really high end loader manufactured by a really grapes motor making company I guess you would say, I guess this company makes fans forserver power supply and server power supply will run 24 hours a day for years and years and years never being turned off so I'm going to assume this must be a really reliable motor in this thing. I can actually remember the name of the company that is supposedly making these motors but I know it's a very good motor making company.and supposedly this thing saves 80% more electricity over a regular fan which is very nice and I know a lot of these DC models had a external power supply which a lot of people didn't like what this particular model of the power supply is built into the fan itself.all I can say is awesome things I hope you guys enjoy the long review sorry it's a little bit long but I'm very happy and impressed with this thing.

Love this FAN
A friend had this fan and showed me how great it was. So I bought one for myself and use it every night by my bed. Perfect size, pushes the breeze thru the room and the sound is perfect to sleep with. I love it!!!!

Variable Speed, Quiet & Effective
It's plastic, but still the nicest fan I've ever owned. The primary feature here, absent in even the highest priced fans, is variable speed control. I have never had a fan as effective yet as quiet as this. I cannot say much for longevity, but the 5-Year Guarantee speaks for itself. Mind the size and if seeking a superb, small fan, I highly recommend it.

Pretty quiet!
This air circulator fan works well for my 300sq-ft studio. I still need to figure out which angles work best to get full room circulation, but this air circulator has helped to increase airflow in my studio that inherently has no airflow because it has just one window. It's almost completely silent when it's set to anything below the medium strength, and I've forgotten several times that it was even on because it's so quiet. Anything above the medium strength is noticeably loud though, but it sounds just like loud white noise.I'm very strict about when I use my AC and only turn it on for the extremely hot (85 degrees or higher) and/or humid days. This air circulator has helped me get through the warmer days between 80-85F when I don't want to use the AC. Looking forward to using it in the winter and just year round to increase the ventilation in my space.I also tried the 633DC, but I ended up keeping this one because it's quieter and is sufficient for my space size. For a larger room, the 633DC probably would work noticeably better.

Wonderful power saving fan for your RV
Refitting for better boondocking capacity. Reducing power needs is a big part of that. Health issues are aided with nice airflow and it is spendy to run the rooftop AC, even on fan @ 1500W each. Plus they need AC either via generator or inverter. So lots of power per hour and only a handful of hours to deplete even my 2320Ah of 12W battery storge (27.8KWh of power) if trying to run the overheads all night. These new brushless motor Voranado fans are a magic bullet for my use. I bought the 133DC this time and it can run non-stop for days if needed. It has a max draw of about 10W@110v on high (measured at 10.9W) and about 1.4W on low. I have it on a small 750W pure sine wave inverter plugged into an "accessory" plug (aka cigarette lighter adapter) which already is a low power draw. All my phones and such are on the same inverter and run all the time as well. Point there is the fan draws so little power it's not adding much to the load already on the inverter.I can now have a fan blowing all night when the overhead units are overkill. I can't wait to grab maybe the 533DC or such for the living room & kitchen area (it's a nice 38' RV so the Vornado's are nice for their air circulation over the simple blowing...helps me when air seems sort of 'stuffy' and harder to breathe...does that make sense?)I know I am super happy this whole new series of brushless motor fans has come out. If you don't know brushless, as a rule, means the device will use only 10-20% of the same motor with brushes. For the 133DC it is not big at all but still moves A LOT of air, perfect for your night stand or even on a shelf in the room. The RV bedroom is only about 9x12' give or take so a bigger fan really would be a bit of a chore to find a place to set it up or I'd need to build a shelf. It is also really light weight. I am going to use some Velcro straps to hold it down when driving or it's gonna go flying. ;)The true variable speed control is a nice return back to my original Vornado fans vs the odd change they made to the hi-med-low settings, that change actually got me to stop buying Vornado fans for a number of years. Maybe it's just the control freak part of me that needs that sort of setting? I just like being able to fine tune it a bit if I am in the mood.It will be simple to clean as well. Just a couple screws to open the fan cage and boom you can dust it easily. Oh it is lower in height than I was thinking which is nice as well. And of course the fan can be tilted to about level or to 90-deg up direct to the ceiling.Guess that's enough gushing over a danged silly fan but, ya know, some stuff just needs to be talked up a bit.
