The Equalizer 2 - Blu-ray + DVD + Digital

Denzel was just as good in E2 as he was in E1. Great movie. Highly recommend.

I loved the twist and turns. The suspense and of course Densel in any movie, you know it's going to be awesome.

SPOILER FREE: This has been available on various streaming platforms I'm on, so I never bought any of the trilogy. In fact, the third one was the first I saw. I actually liked watching them backwards, the plot really works both ways. But regardless, every one of these movies is better than the last. And the first one is amazing. If you like the Wick series, you'll like this too. I hope they make a 4th.

There are few actors who can exude an air of quiet danger and intensity quite like Denzel Washington. In "The Equalizer 2," he reprises his role as Robert McCall, a former black-ops operative turned vigilante, and the result is nothing short of thrilling. Denzel's performance in this sequel is everything fans of the first film could have hoped for. He brings a calm and collected demeanor that hides a ferocious intensity just beneath the surface. His character's sense of justice and his willingness to go to any lengths to protect the innocent provide the driving force behind the story. The plot of "The Equalizer 2" is engaging and full of twists and turns, with a pace that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The action sequences are well-choreographed and brutal, perfectly showcasing McCall's deadly skills. There's a visceral realism to the fight scenes that makes every punch and kick feel impactful. But what sets this film apart from many action thrillers is the depth of emotion and the development of the characters. There's a humanity to McCall that adds layers to his character, making him more relatable and likable. The supporting cast also delivers strong performances, complementing Denzel's lead role. Director Antoine Fuqua does a fantastic job balancing the action with the dramatic elements, creating a film that's not only exciting but also resonant on an emotional level. The cinematography and score further enhance the film's mood, drawing the audience into McCall's world. In conclusion, "The Equalizer 2" is a standout action thriller that delivers on all fronts. It's a film that's not only packed with adrenaline-pumping action but also provides a rich and engaging story. If you loved the first film or are a fan of Denzel Washington's intense acting style, this movie is a must-see. The quiet danger that Denzel exudes is both captivating and chilling, making "The Equalizer 2" a satisfying and thrilling ride from start to finish.
