We use this to scrub down our hot tub every time we empty the water. I had a film of grit developing on my hot tub. Likely culptri calcium build up. From researching, it seemed that high ph causes the issue. My issue was not as bad as others but the gritty feel to the hot tub was ruining the experience. I did not want to drain yhe water since it was a recent fill. I poured a bottle of this stuff and a few hours later the shell was silky smooth again. I changed out the filter, tested the water. The ph was so low that the test strip did not register. Will slowly raise the ph vut ai think I will keep a bottle of this stuff handy to avoid the calcium build up.

I read reviews from previous users and boy am I glad I did. Rather than follow the instructions on the bottle, I poured the entire bottle in the full spa (as other reviewers stated) and let it sit for two days. The heavy scaling I had in my spa only took some brushing to completely remove after that. Saved me a lot of time and effort.

Wow, this stuff is amazing! Every once in awhile I get scale build up in my hot tub. I usually drain and scrub it by hand. A total pain! I looked around and found this and it came the next day. I dumped the entire bottle in and the next morning the shell was silky smooth. The water is crystal clear. Will buy more for maintenance.

I added this product to lossen scale and calcium into the water as suggested by other purchasers and it was useless. But after draining then spraying it on surfaces as directed with a bit of scrubbing it worked well.I am lowering the PH and using another brand to prevent the build up, hoping it works.
