So these are solar powered cheese slices?

Actually, these are battery powered. 2 AA batteries, rechargeable recommended unless your household uses this kraft as fast as we do in ours. Disposable battery in this case, would be just fine.

Any American cheese slices not cheese food

Craft is the only American cheese slices that I like and that melts good.

I bought a different size. First make sure there is no recall. Amazon should have alerted you if there was one. If all good, yes you can freeze it. I would break it up into smaller packages.

KRAFT NEVER FAILS

I love Krafts cheese. I have never disappointed. It melts very easily over southern foods like grits and eggs. It's always fresh and I love the texture and the taste. The quality never fails.
