How many drops are in the .34 fl oz container? I know some are wasted in one application (since more than one often comes out unnecessary)...

.34 oz should be the equivalent to 34 vials since the small vials contain 0.01 fl oz. (or .3ml). The small vials are technically meant for two applications for each eye, although the containers don't readily give up the juice and the liquid is often trapped in the break-off lid. Even if I remember to tap the liquid down before opening, I can squeeze & squeeze the little things, then have to turn them right-side up again to "re-set" the flow and then they usually work. That being said, I highly recommend storing this in the refrigerator, not only for the preservation of the product but it's so refreshing; it's like soft drink for the eyes.

If you buy from store EyeCare&More, all Oasis products are manufactured in USA, Glendora CA. Some other stores are advertising theirs made outside of the US.

Does the cap supposed to make a broken safety sound?

There is a small clicking sound when you turn the cap to open it. The product works well, as intended.

Does this need to be kept in the fridge after opening - similar to the individual vials?

I have not kept in refrigerator.
