This amp helped me accomplish a goal I have had in my sights for years
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: I got into woodworking around ten years ago and it's been my goal to build a giant subwoofer. I had the wood, I had the speaker but I could never afford the amp. When this popped up I jumped on it. Likes: * This is extremely well-built. Everything about it screams quality and intentional engineering. * It is heavy and pretty large. You need a large enclosure for mounting purposes. * This thing pumps! I used it with a 12" sub and it shakes my entire house when it hits. * The EQ cutoff feels accurate and effective. No likes: * None Would I pay full price for this product: It's expensive, but my build was so problem-free that I would buy this again. Final thoughts: Another review mentioned that this amp rattled when in use. That is a function of the enclosure design and how it was constructed. I designed and made a neoprene gasket for this and that (coupled with predrilled holes and appropriate mounting hardware) has made my sub completely rattle-free. This would be the case with any sub amp. I also suggest using PDF for your enclosure as it's a lot more acoustically sound than using wood. I only used wood because I am confident in my building skills. MDF is a lot more forgiving.

Junk don’t buy.
Made a non powered sub into a powered one, this amp rattles and very under powered compared to the non peak rating.

Works great and sounds awesome.
So I took this and paired it with a 15” subwoofer speaker in a sealed custom enclosure I made. It is awesome. My music studio did not have a subwoofer and I really wanted something nice. Well I guess I got a little carried away. But, I’m not complaining. There really isn’t any configuring to do with this amp. No dip switches, or internal controls to adjust. The adjustments you do have are on the front of the unit and work very well. The PSG web page says it highly configurable, but what they really mean is that you can adjust frequency and volume. The cooling fan is temperature dependent and can be a bit loud but it isn’t so bad, especially at louder volumes. Amp specs are very nice with low distortion, a great damping factor, and a good quality voltage control. It is a little big for me, but I guess I am ok with it. I would have preferred different, or additional input and pass through connectors. XLR connectors are OK, but requires you to use adapters in most normal situations. Also using a custom power cord kinda sucks. I have no idea why they didn’t use a standard IEC C13 connector (what your computer uses). This is especially strange since it the voltage is 110/220 selectable. The speaker connections are large gauge wire that does use common connectors to connect to the circuit board so you can change then if needed. Overall, this is a nice amplifier module with some nice specs, good options, and a good value overall. I am very happy with it.
