I am 5'8" (and a half), and about 165-175lbs. I ordered a large and it fit just right. The legs are long enough to tuck into my shoes. If I was a little taller I might have gone a size up cause this fits just right. The gloves are a good deal too big on me, and cause issues with the finger tips going past my fingers. But I have relatively small hands, so this isn't surprising. Would be nice if I could have gotten a separate size gloves with the set. Awesome that it has two veils for the suit. I haven't decided which I like better, but so far it's the full wrap around veil. Not the fencing veil. I look forward to many years of using this suit. It is absolutely wonderful and designed with intelligence. Very good airflow. Very light weight. From my third use I tore the seams of the lining. For the size you can rely on the measurement but as for the hat it is too small for the head, our nose touches the fabric. For ventilation it is very good, especially after tearing....
